The first technique of Shiva ..is what buddha used for enlightenment ..but he discovered himself . Buddha is not 1% of Shiva ..but the methods ..yes the title in incorrect .
Nice clip! If a climber takes one route out of 112 to the top of a mountain, they still climb the whole mountain. Problems can occur when the climber thinks they can switch routes anytime they like because "ultimately they are all the same". Paths may reach for the same goal, but to try to ignore the cliffs between them is dangerous.
If Sadu Guru is so wise, why does he not find solutions of so many problems of our current society ? What is the purpose of his statement : Shiva viasus Buddha ? Buddha and Shiva are above the understanding of mere mortals…the more he talks , his messages are becoming less meaningful!
Budist is related to hindusim, we dont see any difference, most hindus know the same - hence the love for all lamas and budist, see how the dalai lama is respected, there isnt a true hindu who wouldnt bow to him and touch his feet. Yes, hindus do look at budist and can see their path. Sadhguru has great understanding - his not critizing budist, or any other paths, his just saying its all from shiva, which is true! Everything that was and can be done and reached, was first done by shiva, others do only 1 path of shiva of which he showed 112, but that 1 path is so vast that it inculdes so much teaching itself and is enough for most people. Budist spread from India all over the world, Still big in East, hence marketing, nothing malice about it, as a hindu i would love more to follow budist rather then other ways... peace all
Buddha isnt 1% of shiva .. It meant 1 way to get to shivatwa.. So plz understand put of 112 ways budhhatwa is one way which is less than 1 %.. Thats all... I think buddha way is geat way but thats one of the way.. Omnamahshivaya
Shiva believe it or not is Chenrezik. Endless arguments can be made from this. Chenrezik emanated Shiva. Ask Shiva keep asking Shiva. Not any man. Keep asking only Shiva and it will be known at the right time. May take a decade for us to know it. Real Shiva not saying he is better than any one. That is man following him. Distance ourself, keep asking Shiva Buddha and Chenrezik then eventually the truth will be in the mind. Have to give up all tobacco too. Ta Ma ka the deadly poison. Any one who smokes who is not as High as Karmapa will go to hell if not stop. Love and respect. Shiva good for some Buddha good for others. In the long run youll get enlightenment, but it will take much longer if you say your way is so much better than others. The real Deities dont think like that, until one gets enlightenment. Thats the teaching I heard and am learnning. Long winded sorry.
I believe all of those 112 aspects Sadhguru is talking about is in the Buddhist tantras as well, plus combined with bodhicita and emptiness. I don't think Sadhguru is educated enough on Buddhism. I've never heard him speak of a non-abiding Nirvana where one is in Nirvana while helping sentient beings till all beings are freed. That's what a Buddha is, much more lofty than the goal Sadhguru speaks of.

I think I was told we ordinary beings are entrapped within the dimension of time. Time is relative and therefore in the absolute sense does not exist. Hence, the question of first birth becomes irrelevant.
Totally agree. Gossip, pointless talk regarding the Dharma should be taken into account by both sides once they recognize themselves as practitioners. The funny part is that these individuals teach us this kind of restriction and are often comfortable doing the opposite.
