I don't understand the point having to have an outside TV on an off grid RV of this caliber. So you are out in the middle of nowhere USA or Canada and you still have to keep up with your shows? If that's the case, why bother leaving your local KOA?
I love that store!! It's right down the road from my house, in Grass Valley, California. I'm gonna go hang out in that beast tomorrow. I'm sure it's just sitting in the showroom, waiting for me. All the new stuff always are.
Its a great vehicle, the only thing id change about it is getting rid of this dang LP cooktop and putting in an induction setup. If im going to be off-grid, id rather be running electrical/diesel for my vehicle and appliances. Elsewise, this is a solid build!
There are only 3 brands that make 41 inch offroad tires for these. Continental and Michelin both are rated to 68 MPH, Goodyear rated to 80. Problem is the Goodyear's have had a lot of out of round problems, so most are choosing the Continentals or Michelins. I have the Continentals, same as the rig shown. Goes thru anything. And going 68 saves a lot on fuel.
RVs are stupid because they imitate Houses, with woodwork, carpet etc. This is stupid waste of weight. Should all be sleek, futuristic, fiberglass or something very strong and light. No wood and dumb shit like that.
Love it looks amazing but the liquid spring control is amazing; however your place of it is absolutely stupid. Watch your video your head it below the dashboard trying to look at it. Fix it get it about the dash. Fire the person who told you to put it there. Not safe
Sad they built a great looking rv but missed the mark on matching the rest of the industry. Battery power should be doubled. Remove the propane. Double the solar. Get rid of the gas stove for induction. Where is the skid plate, bull bar, off-road lights? Spare tire? Mount for bikes? This is an off-road capable rig that isnt meant for off-grid people. This is for old people who want to look cool.
The box should be no lower than the bottom of the doors. High centering looks like a possibility on ruff creek crossings because of wheel base. The Ram package is a good choice. Keep up the engineering, I think it's getting better every year. Needs larger diesel tank, 54 gallons not enough for long trips. Too many fuel stops.
Great rig for those so inclined. Our solution is to travel in a diesel pusher motorhome while towing the 4X4. Leave the motorhome in a nice RV park and take the 4X4 out to the beach, on a fishing safari, to the grocery store, etc. If you want to take a beast like that off road then good for you. Certainly, looks pretty gnarly. Better stick with paper plates and plastic forks! She will rock and roll!
