Considered among the best flutists of his generation, appreciated for his interpretations that are able to evoke the great flutists of the past, he begins studying flute in 1992 after listening to the well-known French virtuoso Jean-Pierre Rampal.

Andrea Griminelli who writes about him as “is one of the young promises of the Italian flute” and Claudi Arimany who defines him "among the best flautists and interesting interpreters of his generation".

He collaborated with the great flutist Sir James Galway, with Massimiliano Damerini, Andrea Griminelli, Claudi Arimany, with the Canadian singer-songwriter Patrick Watson, with the Luciano Pavarotti Foundation (etc).

He published for Da Vinci Classics (distributed by NAXOS) three CD. In 2019 one of his recordings has been included in the soundtrack of the Canadian film screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival.
