I am so happy to see you on RU-vid! I have been following you on TikTok for a while and love your content, but TikTok be too much sometimes. So happy to be able to hang out with you here on RU-vid :P
Good vid Donovan, you're totally right! At the end of the day you learn a lot of new skills on YT. I've been on here for 7 years and a lot of the skillset is transferrable to other stuff in life too.
omg you killed this!! As someone who specialises in TikTok marketing, IG can honestly seem like it's the saaaaaaame old b roll content with text on repeat. So I LOVE that you've shown so many options here. 🔥
This was great! How many video styles would you recommend trialing at a time out of interest? And how often would you revise the number and swap them out/bring in new ones?
So glad to see you here on RU-vid! Building on RU-vid has always been the goal, but it's definitely the long game. Thank you for being part of the journey!
Hello sir, I’d love to take your videos to the next level. Can I have your approval to recreate this video and make it more captivating so I can become your new video editor ?
Thank you so much and congrats on starting your channel! RU-vid is definitely the long game but you’ve taken a step that most won’t…and that’s starting!
OmG I feel you on this! I am in the growing pains too and it’s kinda hard in your mind especially when you’re successful at what you want to teach and communicate to others. You got this! Here for you!
Hi! I can understand why that may be a red flag for you, but I'm just starting to take RU-vid seriously, and am doing better than most brand new channels. This advice is tailored moreso toward short-form video content. I also have a portfolio on my Stan Store with a variety of results I've been able to bring for people. I'm secure in my value :)
the creator is right though. his video randomly popped up in my algorthm. I am a YT Premium sub so my view has monetization, his audience is organic its been 2 days and he has gained subs easily. ive been on YT for 10 years and he has more subs than me. I got more views though i think. So he wins the argument. i clicked on the video because it looks like the typical tiktok format were used to view thubnail wise.
@@DonavanBarrett_it’s not a red flag, most creators don’t even own a RU-vid channel but they’re raking in millions of views for their clients. Keep going champ! A fan here
Super informative video. A highlight for me was the strategy to use a current celeb’s face for the thumbnail for attention purposes. My question is, does any picture of the celebrity work in this case or one that the celeb is most noticeable/known for?
Packed with value as always ! I had 1:1 with you couple of months ago and that was super helpful! I have a question if you don't mind - that familiarity you are talking about can it be something you always say at the beginning of the video? My content is loosely about life in your 30s and how it's not to late to change your life /self improvement but have few different topics/ pillars so that will give few different formats also. Could I tie them together with saying something like Hi I'm 34 years old and my life is just starting or something?
It absolutely can be what you say in the beginning! I love the tag line by the way. I think it would be a double whammy if you had a strong visual to match in the very beginning
My other channel I made 1 video reacting to a horror movie trailer and got 30k views on it and got 550 subscribers but that was 4 years ago lol then I deleted it. 😂 because I wasn't planning on doing anything with it, but now I want to get back into horror movie reviews/reactions ❤🎃
