Hii I have a problem with contractor did a bad job refuses to fix and mow subcontractors are sending us the materials bills that contractor buy to do the roofing work, we asked to sign the release form..he refuses to do so ..we already filed a claim against his licence CSLB California what we can do .we an estimate from other roofing company that the bad work the contractor did they have to re roof..
They have to pack all my belongings in my house for the construction repairs, company is insisting and pushing to sign completion… and holding my properties until I sign completion ? Can they do that , I believe that was part of the whole project . Can they hold my properties and refuse devliery until I sign … help thanks
This is how investors keep F ing contractors and screwing them out of money when they don't pay on project terms.. The payment is normally a recorded transaction if your not a dumb ass and permits for the job along with proper licencing will also protect you if your not a dumb ass.
keep in mind lien less of $10,000. better dispute as small claims court, to hired Attorney, will cost a lot more than the actual lien. correct me if I'm wrong...
