I remember when i got the f100 be ause after i had one good round i was for sure i got it but then when i looked i was 1 RESEARCH POINT AWAY and since im a cheap scay i had to do a whole nother round now i researching the last plane that i need tk research in the american tech tree that being the f14b since i got the f15’s and 16’s first
you should reaserch the f104C, if you click on the f104a you can see that you can reaserch the c, you can carry 4 missiles in the C variant and its the same battle rating as the A

I can see a problem in ur tech tree, how do u think to get the fifth rank 6 aircraft, like u need to grind another line or go for the A-4E, but still a long way to top tier. And pls use WASD for controlling instant of only using mouse
1:55 basically the exact same thing happened to me in the F-104, i got hit by a missile and thought I was fine until I basically lost engine power, just like you did there.
it also carrys missliles that, unlike aim9b, cant be doged by just doing some light turning. it also gets flares, and has a wide range of guided bombs, so it is viable in ground battles. please put this comment in the next video if you see it, i love your vids and have been commenting on most of your top teir seires. check if you want to.
I sadly dont know the airframe of the f100, but i would personnaly recommend trying to get to the f4e or f4j phantoms, as while they arent amazing at dogfights, they can actualy turn, unlike the f104, and the f4e or f4j carry the most rockets possible in the game, and with all the gun pods, you can fire the weight of a kindergartner in bullets every second.
