Dude That's Awesome is a home for all the things you didn't know you needed. We review products that we would use ourselves and share our favorites with you.
The one I'm looking at on Amazon doesn't have kick stand how do you know they have a kick stand or would it be a surprise? Also what's the best Micro card to get for this laptop. I'm excited to get one for my own. Thank you for your vid. Idk how many times I've watch it lol :)
Yeah it's thin enough that you can use the clamping monitor mounts! It's pretty durable too. I'd be comfortable using a dual monitor arm mount on this desk, but I only have my laptop rn 😅
Thanks for watching! I haven't had to replace the mop head or hepa filters yet, but when the time comes I plan to get a replacement pack like this: amzn.to/4bCg9DC Says it works with the Laresar Evol 3 "this one is the Mars01" but it looks like it'd work with this one as well.
If it doesn't turn on, it's time to charge it 😆 Honestly, I am just mindful of how long I've used it for. If I use it alot, I'll give it a charge to be ready for the next session.
@@DudeThatsAwesomequite a bad system, lithium batteries don't like being completely dead for a long time, eg under 3v per cell or 6v in this case with a 2s battery, liion is more resistant to undercharging but I would still like it to stop at about 7v
It depends on what setting you use. The manual says it can run up to 3 hours on a full charge. But on the highest setting, I'd guess like 20-30 minutes of constant use time. Since we only use it to do quick dustings, it feels like it lasts quite a while!
They are ugly when using them instead of lamps but you missed the best way to use them. I wouldn’t hang them in my kitchen, at least not permanently. And you show using them when you could use a flashlight instead. However, these would be great when your lamps are not near an outlet. Also, instead of seeing long cords stretching from the lamp to the outlets, you can go cordless with these. It would be a much cleaner look!
Good points! Our focus of this video was to be prepared for power outages and emergencies. But a cleaner look for lamps and organizing cables is nice too! 😊
@@DudeThatsAwesome Timing is everything. I was watching a different video before yours. They had a long white cord hanging down from a lamp that was sitting on their bookcase. It ran in front of the bookcase rather than behind it (I'm sure due to the placement of their outlet) and your rechargeable bulb recommendation would have been perfect there!
you left it in the fridge, i godamn hope that the ice will still be there. next time, conduct the test in an ambient environment to test if the isolation is really good, not just approximately like you did, but measure the temperature.
You make some good points. However whenever I put a frozen water bottle in the fridge, it is melted in a few hours. Sure it's still cold but not cold enough to keep ice frozen. I thought it was impressive.
I personally unplug them and keep them in my desk drawer when I'm not using them. They might heat up if kept plugged in and shorten the lifespan a bit. Not 100% sure. Just my guess.
I don't have an Xbox to test, but the manual shows you can plug the dongle into the USB attachment, plug it into your console and then you can receive bluetooth.
Ours did not come with the screw-on top for the phone mount, instead it just sits in a slot and is held in by nothing but gravity. Terrible design, I'm not sure why they changed it, but I'll be sending ours back.
@@AllAboutPurple No, the 10". The light itself is fine, just the inability to properly mount the phone so she can see what she's taking a pic of is the issue.
Sorry to hear that! I like the phone mount that ours came with. Wonder if they changed it, sent a defective product or just had a shortage or something.
@@DudeThatsAwesome Ours also did not come with the screw light to secure the phone holder. I was wondering if I was assembling it wrong, looks like we received a faulty product. I reached out to customer service, we'll see what they say if I hear anything back
It takes some time for birds to get used to new things, it takes even longer to get good video clips lol. Especially when you work a 9-5 😆 We thought we had good enough clips to complete this video and get the point across.
We gave our personal thoughts and shared how we use it throughout the video, but we do have commercial backgrounds and try to give these videos a more professional feel.
