In my honest opinion i want Miraculous the adventure of Shadybug and Claw Noir spin off to happen. I really want to know their origins, how did they get their miraculous (even though the Reverse Marinette aka Shadybug explain that to Marinette aka Ladybug but still i want to know the full story), their previous mission, their lives and their present alliance with Betterfly (the opposite Gabriel Agreste) Alya and Nino in the aftermath of Miraculous special paris. It could be either PG or PG-13 depending if their many dark moments and a little swearing that is approved of Shadybug and Claw Noir side of the story spin off.
I dont hate Penelope, she is def a flawed character and thats the best way for all characters. I dislike her because of how she lied in the last season. I mean it was clever of her, and reasonable given the time period and financial situation of her family. Credit where credit is due. Just dont like her because i dont like manipulators, and thats basically what she is.
David and Nani's relationship is one of my favorite parts of Lilo and Stitch and is the #1 reason that I am terrified of what disney is going to do with the live action remake. I don't trust modern disney to understand how awesome of a dude David is. I fully expect them to reinterpret the story and include a scene where Nani tells him off because he won't take no for an answer or some similar bull. Nani already is a strong female character and David is a wholesome dude, but disney seems to have an obsessive need to make their strong female characters even stronger and more independent and they often do that by making the men in their lives bad people so that the women look better by comparison. I genuinely hope that they can prove me wrong, I don't wanna see our boy David portrayed as predatory or overbearing but like I said, I don't trust disney anymore.
I kinda wanted to see Chloe get cooked into soup for her racist and bratty behavior. Like she legitimately poisoned several people to sabotage Marinette's uncle.
I know the pain of having family from another country and not being able to talk to some them because of a language barrier. My bio dad and his family are Turkish, and all I know how to say is hello/hi and nice to meet you.
I too have family members that only speaks Spanish. I am of Puerto Rican descent and my mom grew up speaking Spanish. Yet I cannot speak enough Spanish to even hold a sentence with them, so Marinette is pretty relatable.
Why was I thinking you made a reaction to this already, because I remember you saying about this episode that Chloe was a racist, did I confuse it with something else
To justify Chloe, I will say that she lives in Europe, and Thomas Astruc doesn't know where he lives and doesn't know how to write racism, and if you're from Europe, you facepalm how unrealistic it is that only Chloe confuses Marinette's uncle with a Japanese, racism works in Europe differently than in the USA (And in France the hijab is banned, so yes, Muslims are persecuted), so yes, it doesn't make sense that only Chloe is a racist
I’m not one bit Chinese but I can kinda sorta relate with this episode:my first language is English because I lived there for a long time but I’m Greek,I have trouble with the language barrier but a can speak Greek.as I said it’s not exact but I can relate with the language barrier thing😅
In fact, the only racism in this episode is the moment when Chloe doesn't understand the language (Although let's face it, many people don't distinguish Japanese from Chinese, sometimes it gets so absurd that they can't tell Korean from them, which is even more strange because of the letters), while as I mentioned earlier, sushi originated in China and later appeared in Japan, so the sushi part is not entirely racist by context So yes, Thomas, you did your job wrong, use the Internet or something...
As a European (Pole), I can explain why Chloe confuses both Asians so much, it is related to the fact that in Europe we don't talk much about this type of racism, and parents are not very educated either, so yes, it's strange that she is the only one who confuses, because adults should too, unfortunately, "Asian" is more used in context (Which can be confusing, because not every Asian speaks Chinese or Japanese), hello, we are talking about France, which persecutes Muslims and forces women to take off the hijab, what should we expect from this country?
Seriously, racism is viewed differently in Europe than in the US (Unfortunately, it can be frustrating for non-white Europeans), the creator is French who pretends to understand racism (Yes, good joke), so it's strange that only Chloe is attacked for racism when, as I mentioned, France persecutes Muslims
I’m re-watching mlb season 1 & I forgot they made Chloe racist. 💀 They did another episode about racism where Mari’s mum got akumatised & it hurts to watch.
Apart from the sushi scene, because sushi was created in China, which is interesting, it is clear that Thomas Astruc did not use the technology of the Internet to make sure that the sushi is 100% Japanese
You know, there's a strange thing, sushi was created in China, then it came to Japan, so it's hard to call it racism, but more of a lack of knowledge of the creator of the series, who doesn't even try to google key information So yeah, Chloe's racism thing looks weird because shusi originated in China, not Japan, so yeah, it doesn't make sense, who knows, maybe Chloe knows more about it than Marinette and her uncle, which would be kind of funny It's possible that Chloe knows where sushi comes from, and our half-Asian woman and her uncle don't, because that's what this series and historical facts show, it would be so stupid and Thomas himself probably didn't think of it, but did it by accident
Honestly, as a mixed Chinese person whos maternal side are immigrants to a yt country, not teaching being taught mandarin and then being stuck with a family member who doesn't speak English all that well, yeah this ep was pretty realistic in that sense 😅

I think since the Source Tournament is gonna the main event, its gonna feel like Season 4 where all the Ninja will have to figure out a way to win the Tournament without losing each other, but I think Arin will turn against them and become sort of a villian for a bit to win the Tournament. Thats my theory.
@@MohammedOmarFCB since there's going to be returning elemental masters, I think Ras will use them on his Tournament team in order for him to have a representative for each Source Dragon.

I have no idea where the Francesca storyline leads to or how it enhances the main Polin plot. Both the storyline and her falling over shared musical taste seem hastened and forced.
Only viewing the character through the rewritten aspect of the TV series makes her very 2 dimensional. The thing that has failed to be established by Netflix that the author did an amazing job with, was showing Lady Whistledown as a compassionate writer as the ONLY person she ever kicked while they were seen as inferior was, well, Penelope. She never mocked the hapless Smithe-Smith girls with their terrible ear splintering musicals each year. In fact, some of my favorite scenes where Lady Danbury commenting on the kindness of whistledown in these moments. Also, the show added a TON of stuff. Merina? Not a vousin in the books. She was, in fact, the first wife of Phillip, who (spoiler) marries Eloise after Merina commits suicide. Kate's little sister was never involved with Antony and certainly never walked out on her own wedding. And Eloise was NOT outted for her forays by Lady Whistledown. In fact it is commented on OVER AND OVER for YEARS that she never has an unkind word to say about a Bridgerton. So I cam totally see people who have only ever seen the Netflix show thinking Penelope is a very unlikable character
Also in Santa Claws, Nathalie says to Gabriel that it's Adrien's first Christmas without his mother. This timeline its even more complicated as the FNAF Lore.
Bridgerton is a show about rich people who do nothing alllllll day. Pen is a character that has a dichotomy that none of the other women leads have ever had. She has power and her own money reporting the gossip. She was okay with that when she thought she would end up a spinster. She was ready to let go of her crush and cleave to her power (and money). People in power have always hurt others. Considering how Society does not like her, I can see her having a detachment from the consequences of what she does - even to the point of losing the one love she had (her friendship with Eloise) But now she has a chance with the love of her life, and being married to one of the most popular families in Society. She will essentially become the people she despises (but low key wants to be them anyway).
The most confusing part of this episode for me is … how did the watch (A MIRACULOUS) break??? Aren’t they supposed to be indestructible or something???
it really annoys me how people think that character flaws make characters hard to root for or uncompelling. if penelope did nothing wrong we’d still be critiquing her as a mary sue
