Row 9 does not work out when I start with 30 stitches I can only do 3 rounds of 7 sc and inc then have 6 stitches left.

This tutorial was so unhelpful 1st stitch count did not add up at all and the “soil” and pot did not add up together the soil was to small so stitches didn’t add up also the pot turned out way bigger than the picture I also would like to add I used all the right materials as somebody who has been crocheting for a while this was very hard to follow.

I purchased the pattern from ltkcuties, but she didn’t have a video. Your video was very helpful trying to figure out her written pattern. Thanks for creating it so I as a beginner can have a better understanding. I now am trying to this stitch on other patterns. Not just the kindle. Great Job.

I’m also confused at row 9.. 30 stitches-> 7 sc plus an increase in the 8th brings you to 27 stitches plus 6 stitches left over.. I even drew it out on paper and found the same problem. Logically when you do the math in your head it makes sense how you’d end up with 34 stitches, but with every 8th stitch in between 7sc, 7 only fits into 30 stitches 3 times. Am I just staring at this too long??!

I think it would be helpful if you stated the number of crochets we should have at the end of each row to know we’re on the same page!

I can't seem to finish row 9, scx7 and increase is 8 in total, 4x8 is 32. I only have 30 stitches?
