PlastiDip is a removeable rubber based coating that you can apply to basically everything; from laptops and tools, to automotive purposes. On my channel, I show you the ins and outs of using plastidip, whether you want to spray your wheels, or even your entire car. I have full length tutorials on how to use the product, along with tips and tricks to get a great finish.
Dude just told everyone to use paint thinner. People watch this shit and do it... This is how miss information gets spread online. It just takes one idiot to make a video and People don't know any better. Paint thinner.... lol
I really appreciate the time and effort you put into your videos. Have you already gone over tip size or pressure? What about thinning plasti dip? To thin or not to thin? And thin with what?
Hi from donald, but i happened to see your Red block type driveway can you explain in Short of how you did it or was it there when you bought your house ??
Bro you’re awesome. I been watching the dip your car channel and I swear Fonzie is good at explaining but you made it soo simple man. Thank you got a sub from me
Hello, sir ! Need advice. I Plasti dip whole car basically ( chrome parts , grill, lights etc. ) and as final part I have to plasti dip Window trim chrome but only down part like 2 pieces on both door. Upper trim went very good because there are good gaps and i can pill of plasti dip which is not need after finish. Unfortunately downside trims have no gap between chrome part and rubber seal so when i finish with my 5th layer + glossyfier layer and try to remove mask it starting to remove plasti dip on chrome parts also... can you advice me how you did it ? I replay your video multiple times and I did the same masking as you basically.
Before you peel that plastic Dip off start with one of the corners and take a hairdryer and heat it up I’m saying start with like you know just a little section that way you can figure out because I never did it but plasty dip I would always use a hairdryer on taking decals off stuff you buy from the store and they got the prices with the stickers on there and when you pee The stickers off they don’t come off real good and then you’re you got a mess and people say use ice cubes and what it but it’s just a pain if you just heat it up I was trying to show my wife one day she don’t never listen to me she was trying to use ice so I said here give me a push prescription bottle or vitamin bottle and I use the hairdryer and you might have to heat more then once I wanna vitamin bottle because like you’re heating it up and as you’re peeling it and if it gets a little cold and as you’re peeling you can tell it’s not gonna be easy anymore you can tell right away when you go to heat it back up so you can finish and not have a mess 👍👍👍👍👍👍
I put 5 coats on my hood today. It's too textured for my standards. If i put 1 wet coat on the whole thing, will it fix it or at least look somewhat better?
Another tip. Put tyre shine on your tyre before you paint to get the overspray off. Use an abrasive sponge to wipe off the tyre shine and afterspray and you are done
Hopefully this works for me I got some stuck around my mirror caps grill and a whole bunch more places my car is black and I got a whole bunch of blue spots it's been annoying me
I’m confused on when peeling off how the excess you didn’t tape peels off but not on the silver. Did you go over with a razor 1st? Thank you for the video.
