Your video is incorrect, bobwhites and chungchis are not quails, bobwhites (genus Colinus) are partridges whereas chungchis (genus Excalfactoria) are part of the family Gallidae.
@@indyreno2933 Northern bobwhite (Colinus virginianus), new world quail is indeed not a true quail, and as for the chung chi (Synoicus chinensis), it has had a complex taxonomic history, being classified into the genus Coturnix, then Synoicus, then Excalfactoria.
