Idk y but every time I hear a eagle whistle I get very emotional. Idk why but it really hits me. I get very emotional. And it's like I zone out and think of my sis & all my family who passed on. I'm still searching for the answer why I do that. As soon I hear it I find myself praying.

Tent shaking is the vary last resort to a major issue Last real documented tent shaking ceremonies happened long ago, and the "higher beings" were called on due to a famine, and the spirits were so angry they wanted to kill them, but only shamed them, but after they were calmed did they agree to help. But warned ⚠️ "Only if it's end of the world" should they be called agian....if you believe in that stuff 😮

Who are all these people saying they BOUGHT one? The hell? They're only to be gifted to specific people during specific ceremonies. Y'all need to go give them up to Elders and make amends.

this is just what I was told, but I heard that along time ago men were given the drum so they could feel the heartbeat and be closer to the earth and women already have that power inside them. I also heard it wasnt just a gift, there was an understanding that men had certain responsibilities to uphold in order to be able to keep the privilege of having the drum, namely respecting and protecting women. that is just what I heard tho

This lady is clueless. THIS IS NOT WHAT THEY MEAN AT ALL. They mean 1 thing. Not many things. They represent the 4 changing colors of the sacred buffalo calf that was sent to us by our prophet the white Buffalo calf woman. During first contact the churches couldn't accept this meaning and paid many elders wampam to tell lies or forced them to change the culture so alot of these natives today in the cities have it wrong today. For those of us who listen to our elders in the wild that never signed treaties.... we know that this means our 4 world's coming and going and we wear turquoise and silver because we know where we're going when we die. Stop listening to these lies! The undoing of culture destruction and healing only starts when you know the truth. That means resurrecting our beliefs.... not just digging up old Graves and creating division and fostering hate as your child! That's an illness so stop spreading it! Stop parading my people around like a circus!!! This phsycological warfare on my people has never stopped since 1763 and the sheeps just keep soaking it up like sponges with no insides

Difficult to reply to such a question and express feelings as these are very personal sentiments but I fully understood in my heart what this lady tried to convey to us. Spirituality is so hard to put into words. Rest in peace, Dear Sister, may your eagle feather follow you always💕🌺🙏

I smiled...."I used to put a whole neck in the roaster"......that is what I do....Neck makes really good roast.....but the bet part....after the neck is cooked, take all the good meat off to make burritos, then all the tendons, bone, etc....boil to make soup stock....

Thank you so much for these videos! My great-grandmother was moved off-rez to another state by my gr-great-grandfather when her mother died. She and her sister passed for white girls, so he thought he was giving them bettet opportunities. Little did he know, he was stealing their culture and heritage from them and their descendants. My sister and I are compiling video lists to learn the language and heritage together, now.
