The large extended family has every right to be so proud of his heroism in such a brutal fight. Very few could have the courage to do what he did. What a sacrifice. Stand proud of his contribution.
Sorry but annoys the heck out of me The USA did not go to the aide of South Korea alone, The UK sent its military too and our highest order The Victoria Cross was also awarded to a very few of our troops. It is great to hear about stories like this one, so thank you for sharing, it is just the USA is not the saviour of the world, as Storming Norman said "He would not want to go to war without the British". You should be very proud of your heritage and your Uncle, a BRAVE man.
