My sister and her family went to Vegas in July and they only went out at night but they said that even at 1am it was so hot they didn't enjoy walking around and the kids would start asking if they can go back to the hotel.
Yup! It can stay in the 80's even overnight. Next week Vegas is going to hit 118! Thats why we stress to drink plenty of water all day in between alcoholic drinks. Thanks for sharing!
So in a king room no microwave, no mini fridge, no coffee pot. My daughter’s room in the mountain tower on the 4th floor had a view of a roof with old chairs thrown on. Restaurants incredibly overpriced. But it was clean.

I really wish some of these more out of the way casinos would bring back the shuttles to and from their properties for those of us who don't drive. I just plugged in an uber from Palazzo to South point and the cheapest would be $23 and with the time change it's early morning there now. We used to catch shuttles to Rio, Sam's Town and free buses to Laughlin and Primm (including a free lunch).
I couldn't agree more! Either have the bus system include the off strip resorts or bring back the shuttles. I'd gladly go to SouthPoint, but $46 + just for transport is just too much. Shuttles could even do a minimal charge &/or pre-arrange pickups!
@tuyetvo4353 We used to rent a car for our 7 day stays,and it was nice to drive all around the valley. A 7 day rental cost about $100. Those days are long gone, and the traffic is horrific. Now I'm content to sit in a passenger seat & enjoy the views.
I have seen a lot more locals from Hawaii at this venue. A bunch of them used to be very loyal to Boyd but after Covid, the bean counters took over and people voted with their feet. This is on my list whenever I am in town. BTW The old Benny Binnion’s statue is at the stockyards.
Yes, SouthPoint is a great property. Michael Gaughn has kept it as close to old school as possible. We’ve ate at most of the restaurants which are good (buffet) or above. Rooms are a good size, lots of chairs at the pool. It’s a place where the whole family can have a good time. Sue
Three things that I like about South Point: 1. Cheap food (Coronado Cafe late nite specials, Garden Buffet breakfast, Sports Book hot dog) 2. Good games (NSU Deuces Wild video poker) 3. A beautiful property with nice amenities (rodeo area, other restaurants, bowling)
My intention is to retire in Vegas where I am from. You do not know cold. 30°F in Las Vegas is not cold. Where I'm from, it's minus 40 Celsius in the wintertime. You would die in 5 seconds exposed. There can be no snow if I am to move to Vegas.I've had a lifetime of it enough

I've been to the same room (but three floors under) and it was great. The only think i din't like (but that's a feeling i got in all Las Vegas) was the fakt that you feel always like Riped off. The CP should be a 4 Stars Hotel, and the fame that you are threated like Ceasar. But as i come from Europe, you can find less stars here and feel like a Ceasar. The Ceasars Palace employes are so like unfriendly. And pay attention to the minibar. As you just move somethings around (even if you look ad the things) the minibar is full of sensors, ans as soon as you move something arount in the minibar, they try to charge your CreditCard. And for the breadth of the hotel, the pool are undersized, considering that 2 of theme are reserved for the seven star and diamond. And a deckbed in front of the pool costs like 300$. It's a totally Rip off.....
It's a very interesting hotel for sure. It's probably one of the better table games offerings for sure with $5 craps on weekday mornings, and a very well filtered air system.
l have just unsubscribed from this channel!!! The videos sound more like a "commercial", other than providing information on a specific topic!!! Latest case in point: This specific video opened with an approximate 1 minute commercial about the channel, followed by about 8 minutes of topic content. The remaining 2 minutes and 40 seconds was an additional "commercial" about the channel, additional channel links, t.v. broadcast schedules, etc.... Durango Red Rock and Green Valley Ranch want $35.00 each from everybody over age 12 and $10 each from everyone between ages of 2 and 11 to watch their fireworks on 4th of July. This company is also the reason why we don't have a state lottery in Nevada. They always fight it with their well-paid lobbyists regardless of how badly our school system needs the money. This company is way too greedy and it is time to give somebody else my business.

Our last stay was November 2022, going to miss this place. So many good times and memories, stayed there 10 times!! Park MGM in October!! Mirage will never be replaced! Great vid, keep up the great content!!
