I don’t mean to be offensive, but companies have a right to advertise their product. If I’m selling candy bars, I will advertise so that people know I’m selling them and will want to buy them! It’s the same with alcohol commercials and everything else. Those ads don’t make alcoholics or eating disorder or anything. So instead of trying to silence companies trying to advertise their products, I think it would make more sense to encourage more health food companies or health products to advertise more than they do so we can see more of their products! If they advertised more like the other unhealthy food companies, there would be more customers for them and people would even know they existed in the first place! I know I have wanted healthy alternatives to unhealthy things and I had to google it to find it. So yeah they need to advertise more. With so many people now wanting healthier options, their products would sell like crazy!!
this is great but try not to scream and shout like that if its happening to someone infront of you, be assertive and make sure 999/911 is called and knows whats going on, but dont panic whosoever's ill
Guess I'm seeing now due to phone hearing me discuss that my friend who was fit and healthy had a stroke and died recently. If you live on your own keep your phone with you at all times, saying that you may not even remember to dial 999.
The thumbnail looks like a screenshot of a 2018 game, like you're just in a cutscene and your character just slapped you, in fact the entireity of the video feels like a video game cutscene with camera shakes
Clearly, you've never seen someone you love suffer a stroke or heart attack before your very eyes. You can't know until you've experienced it yourself.
What do u expect them to do? Have a neutral expression while their family member is having a stroke that can kill them? Call 911!-😐 I think my dad is having a stroke!-😐 Tim it’s ok are you cold?… TIM?!?!-😐
When a stroke happens you have a 3 hour window. In that time you have to confirm the diagnosis and treat it. The typical treatment is a drug called TPA. Tissue plasminogen activator. It's a drug that dissolves clots. Word of warning 1 out of 5 people who take TPA die. It has a 20% mortality rate. People on blood thinners and people with active bleeds or who have had recent surgical wounds cannot safely take TPA. Also TPA only works on small clots. It does not work on large 1s. Also TPA only works with ischemic strokes. Hemorrhagic strokes are a different story. Remember that time is tissue. The more time it takes to treat the more tissue damage occurs. After 3 hours if treatment has not been administered then the effects of a stroke can become long term or even permanent. In rare cases, about 1% of stroke cases to be exact, a condition called locked-in syndrome can occur which is full body head to toe paralysis. You can only move your eyes vertically. Recovery from LIS is unlikely and most people with it die in 6 months time.
in the UK a stroke doesn't even constitute the highest category for ambulance response time... classes as a CAT 2 response (out of 3) so could be waiting up to half an hour plus during busy periods. Better of driving them to hospital yourself.
