The best song from one of the top albums of the early 70s. I’m convinced my son is partly responsible for getting Alice to resurrect this song. He knew Ryan Roxie and pushed him to get Alice to play this.
One of the great songs of prog. Actually ever, any genre. This is a fine attempt. Even Yes themselves were not always up to the demands placed upon them by this magical work. But when they were, ah when they were… ❤
I saw Mike in a Sydney 🦘 drum clinic was fucking awsum 🤘🥁🥁🤘 n while everyone else decided to leave i hung around n chatted with him for like 30 minutes n got a few auto's
Here's the script of the beggining of workshop ( I wasnt there, im just presuming what happened ) : 4:38 - He starts seeking some Tech guy, and the signal maybe was (Lights Up, like - ''Its too dark for a Workshop, change for a brighter color ); 4:50 - He points again and miss the beat on the snare ( Starting to piss him off ) haha - The Tech guy dont get it... 5:40 - Again * Hey, this lights....UP ! ( like, i'm not sure if he was complaining bout the color, or where the lights were pointing on, and miss the beat on snare again....) 5:48 - ( Head signal ) - COME HERE ! COME HERE ! 5:55 - COME CLOSE ! U HAVE TO HEAR ME ! 6:01 - Mike tried to say something, with the expression ''GOD DAMMIT ! REALLY?'' 6:08 - Tech Guy goes away - *THE BOMB HAS BEEN PLANTED* ! HAHAHA 6:30 - When the camera man zoomed on right bassdrum, i thought it was some drumhead crack/pedal problem... 7:07 - Where's that crackhead guy? 7:10 - Come here ! COME HERE ! 7:15 - Come closer.... 7:20 - WHERE THE HELL ARE MY BURGUER AND FRENCH FRIES? - HAHAHAHA * NAH..JUST KIDDING * 7:20 - Maybe its bout the light UP ! LIIIIGHTS UP ! After this, ( i dont know if its only my impression, but Mike seens to play agressively, like ''fuck this shit, i'm gona finish this and go home''. !
Fucking hell, never knew this had taken place. I was 19 at the time and a big portnoy/dt fan and that place is half an hour from where I live. Anyway, cool to see this!
Very well done what a nice little collection from the show, well filmed and the colors are phenomenal. It's criminal that as of this writing, one year after posted, less than 5K views. Thx for sharing!
Mike is actually an Amazing Mechanic ! He installed a Borg Warner turbo, ( & all the plumbing) Suspension upgrades. ect. On an E 36 //M3 For the joy of doing it !! No charge ! . Then I woke up....
Tim Christensen is the best danish guitarplayer...Being danish, I have listened to their music since 1994, right before the first album came out (there were singles in music magazines). I had the plesure to see them 2 times on this tour. I taped them both as audio (Odense and Copenhell)...
Saw them for the first time live in Royal Arena Copenhagen in april 22. Have actually liked them since 94 too, but had never heard Amelia before, and they started of with this, and then it was just lift off from there. Absolutely amazing.
Great video! Dool is a great band and I like "Love like blood" very much (in the Killing Joke version, too) and your video presents colours, light and sound so impressive! Thanks
