Go to Chicora Lake and swim out to the middle of big lake and there's a sand dune you can stand on everybody will think you're treading water for hours and hours
Definitely flatlanders. There's some shorter walks where you will see much more impressive views. There's a short walk just above the falls on Kancamagus Highway it will take you to a small lake and you'll feel like you're the only person in the world that's ever seen that Lake
Hey folks, I loved your video, it's given me a lot of information on what I want to do with my JT suspension down in Australia! I was also wondering what headlights/halo lights you have installed on your car as I really love the look of them, had a Quick Look through your instagram but couldn't find an answer so hoping you reply here! Thanks!
@@FarFromOrdinary my bud texas jeep dad just finally put on his first winch the other day on his gladiator🤙 fixing to take him to hot springs ark this weekend and see what kind of shit i can get him into😎😎
@@FarFromOrdinary I got an 844 deer... Ain't no thing! Picking through the fill dump pile to get all the trash out is a pain though... Found some old ore cart rail the other day though!
Um....it looks like no part of those trails were challenging (besides the steepness & shelf roads). Were there any moments where you had to do any rock crawling or in danger of tipping a vehicle over?
I'm not sure how to interpret this question. If you are asking if there is any rock crawling or dangerous sections in what we did in the San Juans, then the answer is no. The San Juans are a place to go to enjoy your surroundings - and maybe conquer a few steep shelf roads.
@@FarFromOrdinary will do i just done moab steel bender couple weeks ago then rim rocker to montrose then blackbear pass and engineere pass and pecupsy
@@FarFromOrdinary iv done holy cross and chinamen gulch he hasent done any bit hidden falls tx but im geting him out to do colorado no doubt! want him to experiance colorado for sure✊
@@FarFromOrdinary I'm in the NY/NJ/PA area so we do have mountains and by looking at my channel I'm an ATV guy because there is no place here to off road your car, and if you do find a place it's pretty mediocre and uninteresting, and there's nothing to see. I just went to Hatfield McCoy trails in may and drove 150 miles on ATV. There's just a lot to see there even aside from the ride itsself. Cool rock formations, views, overlooks, just a lot.
The good old days when the United States was United and of the people, for the people was it a truly free country. Only a dream today to be able to go and blaze trail like that and build a home the way they use too.
I was wanting a jeep gladiator. But I have always been a die hard chevy guy. So I'm 75 years old so I got a Z71 chevy Colorado so much electronics I hate that truck. Never drive it you send a lot of time looking at a screen. That is not driving for me. I know jeeps have less electronics. More hands on the old way I like that better. The jeep I remember having was a 1949 Willie's had a 4 cylinder. I Blu it up put a 300 horse power 327 chevy motor in it. Had a lot of fun with that truck it bad fast. I still wish I got the jeep. Have so much money in this chevy going to probably keep it. It is loaded with everything over 50 thousand in it. If I could get most of my money back I would probably have a jeep. Live and learn good luck with your truck
wait so you mean to tell me that the way I use my fridge is totally up to me and neither google nor apple nor the manufacturer is monitoring my usage via an app and it's like the good ole days where people mind their own fkn business??? Now that's what I call "far from ordinary" lol where do I signup?
The best? Probably not. A 4 door is going to be a lot more maneuverable, but we like the challenge of wheeling a small truck! The Gladiator can definitely hold it's own.
Trails Offroad! We used to use OnX but it was always lacking, and doesn't cover campsites. Plus there's a huge community behind TO. If you end up signing up we've got a discount code on our links page linktr.ee/farfromordinarylife
I'm about 4 and half minutes in... Without a doubt, the cinematography is outstanding, and the people in the video telling the story are wonderful. You might consider some different approaches to the music you use to underscore the film. The dubstep, electronic driven sound isn't the right vibe. (I'd probably start with Gregory Alan Isakov's "San Luis" for inspiration, but that may just be me!). That said, the footage you captured is breathtaking. The time I've been able to spend in the San Juan's has resulted in some of my most cherished memories. And it's been far too long- 15 years since I've been in that high country. Hope I get back soon.
Thank you so much for the kind words!! We really appreciate that. Our music choice has definitely evolved since last year. The San Juans are absolutely a special place! Heading back next month. Hope you can get back soon too!!
