HI Jeffrey! I just subscribed to your channel. My dream is to buy a house and move back to Puerto Rico. Just don't know what to do about jobs and the pay. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Love your videos!
Thanks, have you looked at remote jobs? There's a lot of opportunity here but jobs pay relatively low wages so running a business or working remote may be a better choice
Thank you. I'd agree that most people are good and the majority of them are respectful and welcome in PR. I say this as an American who loves PR but isn't a resident
I'm looking for a short stay in Isla Verde. My husband is american, never been in Puerto Rico. I'm puertorrican. can you tell me where did you stay in this video? My husband want to stay in an apt where he can see the ocean front. Not side or street view. Thank you for sharing your video ! exellent.
I’m Puerto Rican. I have family in PR. They tell me that the prices are going up like crazy. I have heard that interest rates are not going down. Just a thought, why not buying something nice and small and not too expensive. It will be yours and you could rent it if you move.
It's definitely something I've considered but I don't think prices are going to remain up I'm seeing rents start to fall in some areas especially high-end areas which makes you think prices will probably follow I could be wrong though
@@PuertoRicoLife Got to tell you, I love my island but during the pandemic the government went crazy. They established a digital pass for vaccinated people and if you didn’t have it, if you were not jabbed you couldn’t even go to a supermarket. No food for you. They demanded kids to be jabbed in order to go to school. It was like Cuba basically. No freedom to choose. They established a curfew. It was nuts. After moving to US 20 years ago, and living in a more free society, I will not move back. Just some FYI.
Hey Jeff just saw your video and I’m relocating to Puerto Rico from Virginia Beach this Wednesday. I want to reach out to you and ask some questions about Isla Verde
Do you plan on living in Puerto Rico for a very long time or do you think you would eventually move someday? Cause you said that there is a bunch of problems on the island and you love to travel. Also I know there's a big problem with government corruption down there like they can shutdown your businesses at a finger snap if its something that doesn't help with their political goal. And I've seen a bunch of other people who moved to Puerto Rico for business reasons and to start new lives, who have also said they loved it, but then end up moving back to the states or to some other place in the world.
I know a lot of people who love PR. I know some who didn't and moved back. I don't know my long term plans but I do love it there and could definitely see myself being there long term.
I love Old San Juan. Is an amazing city. One small correction, The San Cristobal castle is the bigger of the two forts. Its actually the biggest in the new world.
Great video. I want to go back to Old San Juan and really take my time walking through all the streets, taking in everything. Last time I was there, we stopped for about an hour and just saw El Morro. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for sharing. I just learned that there are only 5 bio bays in the world, and 3 of them are in Puerto Rico! I’ll have to check this one out for sure.
