Hi and welcome to my channel. This channel is setup for friends and family to watch me take my 2020 Can Am Outlander 850 XT and explore some of the trails in Nova Scotia. Please join me on my next adventure. Thank you for watching.👍
Hi 2CANSAM.. Thanks.. I already have my mod list made out.. lol I’ve only been sitting on the new one for a couple of minutes and already I can see a difference.. Appreciate the comment..
@@TODDATVOffRoad I guess that's what I get for having notifications turned off. Never seen this in time. We'll have to link up before the snow flies. I think it would be a blast to check out and some new trails and meet some new local riders. Stay safe, enjoy the ride
Awesome trails as usual! Sure a lot of old trailers in the bush out in your neck of the woods. We come across the odd one too. The ones that are locked get vandalized because people want to see what's inside - lol - kind of ironic eh - lol Thanx for the tour buddy!
Hi Q .Some of the trailers we come across like that are usually left behind from the loggers. But I assume the locked one was probably a hunter. ( considering it's location) Appreciate the comment.
Hi Scott. I had my waders on and I didn't see any. Steve was wearing shorts and he did not mention anything about ticks. Horse flies. That was a different story... lol Appreciate the comment.
if you interested I also posted our latest ride if you want to see it :) Cheers Todd, keep up the good videos you've became my favorite channel these last few months
Hi Mr.BigRig. lol. I don’t think the dirt just falls off.. Sometimes I wash it with the hose or sometimes I’ll get out the pressure washer. After washing it I’ll spray it down with SC1 and leave it. Just wipe off the seat so I don’t slide around. The other option is to spray it down with the cheapest tire shine that I can find at the time. Appreciate the comment/question.
Well the sunk brute force sucks but at least you are not flipping your buddy over to pump water out of him instead. Bonus that it drove back to the trucks under it's own power though.
Hi Ruyguy. I still can’t believe the brute started up and he could continue the ride. He is ok. The roll over didn’t seem to bother him any. Appreciate the comment.
Hi TRAILBLAZER. Most of the time I do not. When I go into a new area for the first time I pretty much just follow trails not knowing where I’m going. lol. I think that’s the fun part about exploring. Not knowing where you’re going. June. 29/2024 We went back into that area to explore some new trails. Appreciate the comment.
@@TODDATVOffRoad very cool. I was just curious. At one point I was thinking your phone was actually mapping the new places you had been. And I agree.. getting lost can be a lot more fun sometimes! lol Looking forward to watching some more videos!
I have a 2023 xtp 850 max blown belt at 200 miles. This is my first belt atv 20 and below I’m in low or going up hills the rest In High. In high I love the power and sport mode I’m always hitting the power you think I’m ridding it to hard. Or is something wrong with the bike? Thoughts anyone
Hi Jzenone. That’s kind of odd blowing out a belt at 200 miles. I think in the last 4 years I’ve never blown a belt and smoked a belt once . If you keep blowing up belts then I would be concerned. Appreciate the comment..
Just never know what you'll find down those little trails. - - - 13:20 - that looked like more than just a deer blind. Even had a crapper - lol. Odd that both buildings were locked though. In Sask., buildings on Crown Land have a higher risk of being vandalized if they're locked up because all buildings in the north are considered emergency shelters. - - - 30:34 - Well WTH buddy! I feel ripped off. I couldn't see the blind. You need to get off your machine and show us - lol - - - 33:47 - beauty little spot for lunch! - - - 34:14 - Ohhhhhh man, I'd be gettin' my quad down there somehow to see where that trail goes! Gotta know! Just gotta know - lol - - - Holy crap, you went down so many bushwhacking trails I thought I was watching Q-Tube for a minute there - lol - awesome video Todd! Thanx for the tour!
Hi Q .. 13:20 For the size of it. Kinda thru me off to why it was locked. Even the crapper was locked. 30:34 Got lazy.... lol I have someone who wants me to show him around that area. When we decide to go I'll have to revisit that blind and check out the back trail at the 34:14 mark. Bushwhacking trails are always fun buddy... lol Appreciate the comment.
Great Ride! You have so much country to explore! I really like water and mud, and hills, it always add up to be a really fun ride. I saw the tall grass you were riding thru and the first thing I thought of was ticks. I walked 50 yards in tall grass like that and had a dozen ticks on me. Had a few on me when I stopped riding along side the trail. Thanks for the video, I enjoyed it!
Hi Jensen. It’s pretty cool that all these rides I take are within an hour from home. I don’t see much for ticks or at least I don’t notice them. Maybe because I’m always wearing waders. I see more caterpillars crawling up my waders than any other insect.. Appreciate the comment.
Hi Sully. If Santa was the red thing in the water. I left him there because it made for a good platform for someone to stand on while they were fishing. Appreciate the comment.
Wow, I want to ride these trails! You need whiskey thumb to cross those rapids. Why didn’t hook your winch to your buddy when he was checking the depth! Hahaha
Hey we are going on a ride Friday night we are leaving kennecook fire hall at 6:30 pm. You are more than welcome to join us. We might go to Walden pub for snacks.
Hi BRG.. Might have to pass on this one. Heading out Thursday for a ride. Kennetcook to Walton. That might be a dusty ride.. lol Appreciate the comment.
I'm glad you made it out to the event I was doing parking and my good friend is the president of the club. We had a great turn out that day 148 riders signed in. I hope you enjoyed. I am liking the content. Maybe one day we will meat on the trails.
Hi MrBigRigGuy. Are you the same guy I was talking to when I arrived.? ( Im not that good with names) lol If you ever see me out on the trails. Don't be scared to say hi.. Appreciate the comment.
Hi Arctic. I didn’t notice the beer can in the lake until I watched the footage. I’m not sure why some people think cans will burn. I always see cans in the fire pits Appreciate the comment.
Hi Arctic. There’s a couple more coming up in the next video. I missed one that I seen on Google earth . Maybe I’ll save that one for another day. Appreciate the comment.
Hi XMR9028 Lmao.. I didn’t see anything about a mud run.. I was on a scouting mission because the last time I was on those trails I noticed a lot the holes were filled in. I’m not sure where the blueberry field is. The big waterhole at the end I don’t remember seeing a tree sticking out in the middle of it.. Now I know what to look for the next time I’m there.. lol Appreciate the comment.
Looked like a great day of riding! - - - 8:10 - I was cheerin' you on for the swan dive, but nope, didn't happen - lol - - - 9:15 - Gremlins are making a comeback. You should go salvage it - lol - - - 23:05 - Cool find!!! it's a generator. Take it camping with you. You won't have to bring gas along to run it - lol - - - 25:34 - WHAT?!!! I can't hear you, my muffler is too loud! HAHAHAHA!!! - - - 35:03 - yeah, 7 minutes worth🙄😴- 🤣 35:09 - well you would've had enough battery to get back to the truck, "in case something happened", if you would've turned it off after the hour in the mud pits - HAHAHAHA!!! - (just messin' with ya of course - lol) - - - Awesome stuff Todd! Thanx for the tour buddy!
Hi Q .. 🤣🤣 Swan dive turn into a belly flop. 23:05 Wonder what it would be worth in scrap metal but ya better have a crane.. lol After leaving the mud pit it was pretty much a dusty ole service road ride back. Plus a person can see another way back in my previous video if they want. ( besides I carry 9 batteries with me at all times) .. lol Appreciate the comment buddy... 😉
I just don't know what a video search on robber Armstrong. It seems that he builts steam engines. Are the Van or snowballs you have back in the 1800s? And that's what I'm assuming that was a steam engine. Good for what purpose not sure. I guess I should have prof read what I sent. Mr Armstrong was from Amherst NS. There is some good vedios on him on u-tube. I watch your vedios, good stuff. I wouldn't mind catching up some time.
Hi John. Those 4 parts we found were part of a steam engine. Not sure what they used it for myself. Back in the day maybe they used it in a sawmill.. Not 100% sure about that. Appreciate the comment.
Hi Johnny. lol I tell the guys all the time not to worry about where we are going. Just worry about how we’re getting back.. lol Appreciate the comment.
Hi Arctic. Visiting the unknown for the first time is awesome. lol We plan on going back to do some more exploring in that area. Appreciate the comment.
I’m really thinking about going with these black water evolutions. Where I ride it’s very rocky , hard pack , hills the mud isn’t sticky because of the rocky terrain. Northeast Pa. Right now I’m running Sedona Rip Saws
Hi KC.. lol .. They cannot go by that hole at the end of the video without going in it.. The Myra trail goes on forever and no matter where you go. You’re going to hit water at some point. lol At the end of the ride wasn't rain.. It was snow flurries...👍 Appreciate the comment.
