Hi Jim Wiles The North Somerset Motorcycle Club, Bristol, England has run time trials for the last 60 years. The most popular machines are trials and enduro bikes and they must run with trials tyres on the rear wheel. The course is about one to three miles in length over country terrain. There are 6 observed sections, Rules Passing cleanly through the section, no point lost, footing loses 3 marks, fail loses 5 marks. The winner is the person who does the most laps in one hour and loses the least points on observation. About 60 riders take part, its competitive and lots of fun, hope this explains the event,
Looks like well supported event, where there observed sections? Supprising how the the trials bikes made easy work of the slippery conditions, did all bikes have trials tyres?
