Welcome to One Petite Street where we celebrate the small and tiny things. Miniatures and Dollhouse and how to build, make and remodel them. By Jim Williams The Miniaturist. OnePetiteStreet@gmail.com
I don’t know how I’ve never run across your channel before. I’m delighted to make your “acquaintance” and look forward to enjoying all your videos, past and future! What a wonderful collection of books you have. I keep rewinding to look at more titles to see which ones sound like I might want to go on a hunt for! 😊
I was stationed at RAF Alconbury from August 1990 -August 1993 and we loved being in England. We took our granddaughter over and traveled all over. Thank you for watching and comment.
I found a metal dollhouse at the dump today. Practically RAN with it to my car! Had a bag full of plastic furniture inside, too! Mine appears to be more 80s, though. I’d love to have one like yours!
Dear Sam, could you tell me where I can buy this light fitting? Is it in kit form? I live in Melbourne, Australia and I would love to buy one of these lights, if the company that makes it delivers to Australia. Thank you for this great video tutorial. Cheers from Amanda Jones
A company that makes them is Kable Kontrol. You can find them on Amazon. I found them on line at Home Depot . I tried one of those plastic coffee stirrer and it seemed to work. I only had a red one ,but it secured the wires. Check on electronic sites.
It is starting to come together. Looking good. Maybe for the exterior you can use paint and sand for a stucco effect. I am happy that you all made it home safe and your wife is hopefully doing better. Home you and your family had a blessed Easter! Thank you for sharing 🥰
I'm a little late to the program, but I am so impressed with your gift box idea, even a month after Christmas. You have included items i would not have thought of. And, it makes a great starter kit for a beginner to purchase on their own without breaking the bank. Thank you.
Are you able to turn the light on and off on Sam's Study? I'm looking at the instructions now and it looks like it's installed under the floor. I'm not sure how accessible it is there...
There is a space under the floor where there is a shelf that hold the batter and switch. See video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2JdRIK_lmzs.html witch an other lighting project.
What a great idea for a gift box!!! The list is pretty inclusive for a beginner & the list of channels to watch is the best way to get started. Thanks so much sir for your ideas and all you do here!
I’ve been curious about this first book. Thanks for sharing about it! It reminds me of my childhood dollhouse - using cardboard boxes for my house and then making everything for it from common objects around our house. I used bottle caps to make pies, matchboxes to make dresser drawers, broken jewelry to make chandeliers, etc. Good memories. Thanks again, Kathleen.
Thank you from Australia - I’m currently struggling with wrapping the wires around the LED lights - I’ll try tweezers. Sam’s Study I loved except for the lights 😂.
Wow. I Love your channel and your dollhouses. I have quite a few dollhouses. I live in an Austin suburb and wish I had someone like you folks to share my collection with. I have a lot of Renwal furnishings in my collection and haven’t touched it for years. Likely as I have no one to share it with. Thank you for sharing. New subscriber and I will watch all of your videos. ❤️ 3:27
thanks for sharing the project! Totally understand getting busy. I haven't worked on a mini project in months. In the process of setting up a new craft room which hopefully will give me a space where I can take some time during the evening hours and do a project. Thank you so much for your nice words your videos always lift my spirits and remind me how much good is in the world and we should spread it around.
