Hello, my name is Rich and I've been self-employed my entire life. This channel will mostly include videos about selling shirts, print-on-demand, selling on Etsy, Shopify, and Amazon + more entrepreneurship endeavors.
Yo what the f... 17%??? Im selling stuff and price is 25, can't go above that and my profit is barely 4$ from the each sale , and that's also the amount i have to pay to amazon? Wtf that's a scam
After watching the truly inspiring videos listed in the description my question is, how can one succeed on Esty without the finances to do print on demand ( like Shopify)? Alao as a beginer without a physical product to display on the Etsy shop, how can a person make sales, when all they have are digital images to upload?
@@nativeblack5251 inspiration is totally okay. But when you go into someone's stats, search terms, sales, and tags you have gone too far. Etsy has done all this sharing to make more money. Not to help sellers.
@@rachaelt3294 Following the path or methods of another person's success is what people have written books about and what they charge services for, every industry has an ad for this exact theme. While the opinion may be that it's gone too far, as you stated, the truth is that unless you're running your own shop entirely, that includes the software to track your own analytics, shops like Etsy that we agree to participate in state the issue of this topic in their terms of service. Your progress is not a trade secret, and so I agree it sucks to put the hard work in just to have someone else take from your plate, in a sense. But it's also what we opt into when we agree to use "their" services.
If photoshop is the windows of design software i feel kittl is the apple of design software, super easy to use and less annoying than canvas, but not as complicated as Photoshop
Hi, I noticed that Canva doesnt have an option for DPI and Kittl particularly doesn't have a DPI up to 300 but that's what Printify requires for the print-design on my shirt. Now I'm worried, may i ask how did you manage with that?
I hate to be that person but I feel like all these tools that look at other people's shops and look at their information should be banned. It's wrong. That is how copy cats are created. I've dealt with it myself and when I see traffic from these sources it make me feel physically ill. The only people making money are those charging for the cheater tool. Then the creators of unique designs get ripped off after enough people look at their shop and copy. Sad really.
I agree with this perspective especially when there isn't any care taken to conceal the blatant "copy paste". I know, putting laws established to mitigate certain aspects of this topic aside, there's nothing wrong with using someone else's glory to gain inspiration. At the root we are all human however, it's the uniqueness of individuality that gives birth to the multitudes of unique products. In many ways it's the slim difference between the attempts to do it better without giving the credit due ( which is most often for profit) and attempts to put a unique twist on something that only you can because of the contrast in your life experiences (which these people more often give credit).
So I actually tried to look at this and it is only offering me the $39.99 monthly subscription and not the $.99 per sale that you mentioned. Can you clarify this please?
@@lesliereece2065 I was mistaken, you need the professional account to turn on integrations… You could do the .99 account but it would be a pain, you would manually create listings and manually create orders in Printify. Highly recommend just getting the professional account.
Hello Vincent, I am also decently new to etsy, if you want I can try to help you out a little, maybe even establish something together and make profit together
Bruh i just wanted to know how to put 2 simple words in plane jane white letter phonts idk shit about letter phonts but sum simple. 2 words wt white letter phonts and tilt the words at an 65° angle and stretch them out vertically . White letter phonts on a plane jane shirt
Can I ask you a question about printify. I’m designing in Illustrator. Should I design in rgb or cmyk? I know it’ll print cmyk regardless but should I upload it as a rgb or cmyk onto printify? Does it matter? I mean either way it’ll come out as cmyk. So what’s better? Does it even matter because it’ll print cmyk regardless if I design in rgb or cmyk?
You should do it in cmyk if you’re real obsessive of how perfect the print will turn out. I don’t care much for how close the colors will be to the one that we design so most of the time it is just in rgb.
Never relay on Awkward styles; I got frustrated with their delay in production and slow customer service. My order is 9 days in production with no honest explanation. It is so disappointing.
If you're considering working with Awkward Styles, be prepared for extremely long processing times and frustratingly slow customer service. My current order started processing on the 14th, and it's now the 21st-9 days later-and it's still in production, with no sign of shipping to my customer. Their advertised processing time is 1-3 days, but that's far from reality. Despite reaching out to their customer service multiple times, I've yet to receive a response. This isn't the first issue I've encountered. In the past, I had a problem with their system that took over a month to resolve due to the lack of timely communication. I even had to switch to another print-on-demand company during that time to keep my business running. While they do offer some unique items, their high prices mean that customers only buy when there's a sale, which results in little to no profit for me. Unfortunately, this company has really ruined my reputation, leading to bad reviews due to late shipping. Overall, I can't recommend Awkward Styles unless you're willing to risk delays, poor communication, and potential damage to your business reputation.
Question what about a wash test how long does it last cuz it’s not about if it heat press it’s about if it last long when u wash them cuz some heat press don’t press it good and when u wash it tends to bubble and crack quick
I’m not saying this to discourage anyone, but it’s a cold hard fact. No one is ever going to build a SUSTAINABLE, successful brand by using templates and clip art. It’s just not going to happen. You might sell some shirts, but you will hit a brick wall sooner or later because you are limited by your lack of ability to create your own designs. And using templates is NOT creating. I know not everyone’s an artist, I get that. But if you’re not an artist and can’t do the work yourself, you either need to partner with someone who can, or commission an artist to do what you need. If you genuinely want to build a brand that will survive long term. If all you want to do is sell a few shirts and cash out, then you can disregard what I said, but if you want a brand that will still be around in 5 or 10 years, there are no shortcuts. And I’m saying this with the experience of being in the industry for close to 20 years. Again, not trying to discourage anyone, I WANT as many people as possible to succeed. And that’s why I’m saying all this.
