Omg, you are exactly that kind of person I want NOT be with me on a ship. Annoying. After watching this video I can imagine what trouble you started at the bar, thinking your fighting for your rights.

And people have booked their chair in the Sanctuary so it is available and waiting for them whenever they want to use it. They do not have to be there but have paid for it to be available when they want it. Very simple...
Thanks for the post. I just came back from a Holland Alaskan cruise. I went on the bargain basic plan. Which was fine, the premium plans weren't worth the money in my estimation. However, the common area experience is what I found lackluster. Too many people at the chow line, too small portions in the formal dining room, too many children throwing tantrums, running, jumping climbing handrails, etc. and entertainment was mediocre. We caught covid after 3 days at sea which was the icing on the cake. However, the staff and crew were exceptional. They did their best to make the trip enjoyable.
We did our first yacht club cruise last january (MSC Fantasia, Mediterranian) and we enjoyed it so much, that we have already booked another one for next year. Cruising is so much more relaxed in the YC. All the stuff, we did not like about cruising was gone, when we were in YC.
It’s nice to see someone else appreciating Take Five as I’ve never even seen a vlogger mention that it even exists, never mind have an opinion on it! One of the nicest venues on the ship and it’s super cool to boot.
It is but after that cruise, I did a cruise about two weeks later, and they converted the majority of take five into a casino area with slot machines. I was quite bummed when I saw that, and they got rid of theGin cart. I appreciate your kind words. Thank you for watching.

Totally understand her point. Why not just charge the difference instead of the entire cost of the drink. I agree that since you already have a drink package only charge those guests the difference.
in all honesty the Easy package is for basic drinking. people who are not particular and do not drink much. If you are drinking several martinis outside that package even for a day you should upgrade.
I haven't sailed w MSC yet, but the way I'm reading the drink packages, The cheapest one is like an HMO, no outta network benefits. The second level, Easy Plus works like the other cruise lines, you pay the overage on drinks that surpass your dollar limit. I'll see for sure when I sail.
I like to thank you for your video. I agree with most of your "Stinker" list however, we did sail on a 10-day cruise in May of 2024 and are about to go again in October. We had no issues with the solarium during our stay. I hope you filled out your survey at the end. I appreciate the review on the restaurant. We decided to forgo any specialty restaurants on this next go-around. Thank you for the content.

I am sailing with MSC in October and will have the easy drink package and previously cruised MSC with no drink package and I did not know this and I really do my research.
Does it have to be on a computer? My TA told me to just take my invoice to the port that they’ll print and tag for me… but my roommates name is spelled wrong on the original invoice, it’s all been changed but I don’t want any issues… what do I do? I’m looking at it on my phone and it says I have no documents available at this time… I’m 44 days out… please help
@@CRUISINALONG so I txt her and she sent me the updated one with my shipmates info correct… thank u so much for responding so quickly… she said “Always bring the invoice to any cruise because it shows you have $100 on board credit. What happens if you get there and they say oh you don’t have anything this is proof you have it as in suggestion”
Hi! Looks like you used Virgin voyages, correct? I am looking to book this thru Viator instead of VV for the cost savings but I want to make sure, was the catamaran meeting point right at the port?
Yes it was but the thing is outside the cruise ship excursions have no guarantee to get you back in time conversely the ship doesn’t have to wait for you .
We are booked this December and then in April 2025 for Yacht Club, Miami and New York departure ports. Did you tip the butler and room steward extra? Could you get a pot of coffee delivered to your cabin early in the morning?
Thank you for this review and your experience. We have a Mediterranean Cruise planned on MSC, in an Aurea Suite. I decided to open my wallet a little further so upgraded the booking to Yacht Club. We are really looking forward to it. A heavy day of drinking for us is a Sprite and a spritzer, so I was pleased to note that your positive opinion was not influenced by the included drinks package, or the wait time to get a drink. I think I will be agreeing with you that avoiding the (sounds chaotic) MSC embarkation process will be worth the price of admission, alone! Thanks again.
Yes the drinks included was a very very small reason or really no factor at all in booking the Yacht Club it was paramountly about more upscale experience Yacht Club Class Provides. What ship are y’all sailing on?
@@CRUISINALONG The Fantasia from/to Marseille, France. First thought was to fly (from DFW) to Miami to do another Caribbean cruise but then figured for a few shekels more in airfare, we could see something *really* different. BTW... your blue top in this video is really Yacht Club!!
This is a YOU problem... There's nowhere that says they allow upcharges... You also should think of what you're going to say before you start a video... It was painful to watch.
They actually have since modified they’re drinking package policy to reflect where you only pay the difference. Thanks for watching and have a great day.
