Catherine Mary Stewart had a small part in 2007’s The Girl Next Door. A really good movie that’s very hard to watch. I always liked Night Of The Comet. I
First, I was 16 when I saw this - I liked it fine but over the years, I just fell head over heels in love with it. I adored CMS in Days of Our Lives and all of the movies she's been in, but she is such a sweetheart - so kind and gracious and wonderful. It hit a chord when she asked where to sign, giving the people the option and care (I say that because one time I went to a signing of Davy Jones and I had a lot of stuff but I asked him to sign a plaque I had bought of Monkees stills; I asked him to sign on the back because I wanted the picture to remain pristine, and he got pretty angry; still bothers me 30 years later). I adore that sweet Kelli too - she just seems like a carefree spirit, so kind and generous at heart - that comes through in all her performances in her movies. Thank you for this! So lucky to go to something like this!
It's either Adrienne Barbeau or Leslie Easterbrook who wins the prize for "Best Knockers of Her Generation". I guess it all depends if your preference is for brunettes or blondes.
Catherine made 2 cult movies that I can watch over and over again: the first, of course, is this one, Comet, however, the other is a more rare species: WORLD GONE WILD.....where the rest of the cast is priceless, especially, Bruce Dern......
Great actress! Her ability to play so many different roles and voiceovers will Always define her! Although God blessed her in other ways it did not distract me from her acting ability!
great movie, love these girls. funny side note, Steve Lebeau, the phantom dj we hear but never see, introduced the robo-jock even before the revelation of the Prophet system in 2000 or so. most of the voices you hear late night at not "live" show is pre-recorded in twenty minutes, tracks and commercials added, a few jingles for flavor the audience can't tell the difference
A poster below opined that Catherine gets more attention, but Kelli got the best line in the movie (and better than most lines in most movies of the era) - "Daddy woulda got us Uzis!"; My D&D group used that for years when I didn't hand out the Big F-in' Swords like Trick or Treat candy. LOL Good times!
The MAC-10s were jamming while filming pissing off the Writer/Director and actresses. He got so frustrated the three of them came up with that dialog if it should jam again. "The car didn't notice the difference"
