Hi, I’m Renee better known as RB the Garden Nanny. I’m a master gardener who enjoys helping others with their garden. I have been helping homeowners, businesses and churches with their landscaping since 2016. I would love for you to check out new and past videos and subscribe if you like what you see.
Awesome footage capturing the beautiful alluring garden that entice some of the viewers to keep on watching your channel, thanks for sharing and bringing us to this wonderful relaxing place and stay safe always.
Cantaloupe should be golden when picked. :( You picked it too early. The stem will separate from the cantaloupe easily and then you can pick it if it is golden colored all over.
Beautiful video tribute my friend. You look so much like your mom, when she was younger. 😊 There’s nothing like our mothers. Thank God for them, for the time we had them. ❤️
@@timesofrefreshingwithjoann9077 amen! It’s so funny how much I look like her and “sound” like her. When I talk to family and friends that knew her they always say how much I sound like her on the phone. I thank God for her. Thanks for watching Jo. 💕💕💕💕
I swore off Zinnias a few years back, but I may revisit that decision after watching your video! Can we talk about the raised beds and the basket weave design on planters? They look very nice! Where did you get them (the raised beds)? Thanks for sharing!
@@SouthCarolinaTransPlant absolutely! I hope you give Zinnias a try again. Make sure not to plant too deep. I like to plant them on top of the soil sometimes and then throw down over them a light layer of compost. In this video I made shallow rows and shook seeds into each row covered it up and make sure if you don’t have drip water daily to get germination started. The raised beds are from a company called Lifetime - I found on Amazon, of course. Here’s the link: a.co/d/aB3B351 The basket weave containers were a steal on EBay , in my opinion, because of size and price 2/$44 22” resin Extra large. @@rbthegardennannyllc4219 Thank you! I've been contemplating vegetable gardening for a while now. We have strong deer pressure! I figure start with some protected raised beds first. So I'm gathering some ideas. Thanks for the links and all of your informative content!
Your flowers look gorgeous! My neighbor has a rose of Sharon that grows under the fence and onto my side and last year I pulled up a runner and have planted it in a grow bag and it’s growing very nicely. I’m gonna put it in the ground next year.🪴
So much to compliment in your garden. I love it all especially your cut flower garden. I have felt so successful with Zinnias. Definitely a great starter flower for me. The wisteria is so beautiful. I have also seen a few hummingbirds over here too. Yay! I love the month of August. Have a great week, Renee!
Aww much appreciated. It’s been a very rewarding experience in the garden. My favorite place to be. Gotta love Zinnias. So prolific and EASY!! Thanks for watching and the support!!!
Bravissima!!! Everything looks wonderful, particularly the petunias and zinnias. I grew zinnias from seed for the first time this year, and they are amazing, indeed... As for the leaf bugs, I have found mixing dish soap (dawn) and water and spritzing the leaves works very well. (And for fruit flies: get a plastic water bottle; cut it in have; get rid of the cap; pour about two ounces of apple cider vinegar and water into the bottom of the bottle, with a couple of drops of Dawn dishsoap; mix together; then, put the top of the water bottle, nozzle down into the bottom part. It's amazing. I just found out about it, tried it, and it works great [I have a lot of fruit ripening around my kitchen.) Great job!
Thanks ChristiaanH. Zinnias are the bomb plant in my book. Especially grown from seed and you can save the seeds of your favorite varieties!!! Thanks for the info on the leaf bugs. I can rig up a concoction of that and spray on that Milkweed. Thanks for the gnat catcher info as well. Around this time there is plenty of produce hanging around in the kitchen. Thanks for watching and your support of the channel 👩🏾🌾💕😀
@@rbthegardennannyllc4219 My pleasure. I always enjoy your videos. We are kindred spirits as gardeners. This is my first zinnia zeason and I'm hooked. I didn't realize they had multiple flowers per plant. I mix my flowers all together, so my garden looks like a big flower bouquet in the ground; wildflowers; daisies; mandevilla, zinnias, vincas, lantana; just a melange of colors. I also grew a bunch of flowering climbing vines to climb my branch and limb 'stick' fence. Thanks again for the terrific videos... and you should send a pic your petunia into a magazine; it is magnificent!
No'ice! So many questions! Is that a patio block on the bottom of that planter? Are those the same flowers I mis-named in my tour video? Great song choice! You got dj skillz! 🥰
@@SouthCarolinaTransPlant no patio block - just the way the planter was made. I did spray paint the entire planter black. It’s Supertunia Bordeaux. I have to say editing and adding music is my favorite. Thanks for the compliment and for watching.
