This video means so much to me. I’m only 25 years old, so some may not take me seriously. I’ve battled addiction since my teenage years up to this point. The worst decision I ever made was putting my lips to the bottle when I was 14. Used multiple substances to cope with depression and anxiety (alcohol predominantly), due to the simple fact I was afraid of admitting to being vulnerable. Growing up with the expectation that part of being a man is not showing weakness or emotion lead me down a dark road that I almost didn’t make it out of.
what being a Norwich fan does to a mentally healthy individual End of banter and start of serious reply, because I'm also diagnosed with depression before which I'd never thought about it being possible. The reason why most people who are tired of life choose to end it abruptly is because the thought is indeed that abrupt. You wake up one day and think "well that's it", then you go out. They had completely gave up on life that ending it didn't feel like a serious choice anymore.
Lost my dad to suicide at 10 years old right before lockdown in march 2020. This message is relatable and very true. No matter what, always check up on people no matter who they are to you ❤
Went to my first game 21 Dec 1985 Norwich City v Millwall, 14 years old. Travelled from GT Yarmouth and since then have been a die hard canaries fan, If I remember correctly the Ticket was for the Barclay end and cost £3
I came to the conclusion you are probably at, too early in my childhood. I am 25 now... Strong, but jagged. I won't say what to do, what not to do, that is up to you. Life will run it's course. At the moment, You are along with it. This isn't the first time you asked this question, yet you are still here. I am too. Until it maybe that I die, it is my goal to treat myself with dignity.
This is incredible, really, incredible. Im bipolar and my few friends are all mental health patients. Thank you so much for fighting for us, Norwich! Giving Hope to us is no easy feat, really, thank you!
@@barrybullsh1tter246 yeah true. Thing is tho it would benefit the women's team fans because they would hear more exclusively about their team and not the men's. And if they support both men's and women's then they can subscribe to both. Whatever tho lol
🏴 | Kenny McLean (CM) Age: 32 Club: Norwich City FC 🏴 Transfermarkt: €900k 💰 PROS ✅ * Norwich POTY 23/24 * Experienced * Helps towards Scottish quota for European football CONS ❌ * 32 years-old * Slow * Lacks physicality * Expensive wages * Transfer fee required (Norwich contract until 30/06/26 + option for further year) * Below the calibre of player required to push Rangers on the next level * Zero resale value * Takes away a spot from a younger player Rangers could develop to sell on for massive profit e.g. playing 32 year-old Kenny McLean over developing 20 year-old Damían García * Another player who will be deadwood in 12 months time Rangers won’t be able to shift off the wage bill Excitement? 2/10 🤢 Reality? 8.5/10
You guys know me, I have been MAJORLY complimentary of Rangers’ transfer business, not just this window, but since Nils Koppen has taken over Rangers’ recruitment. However this is a horrendous signing for Rangers. Totally wrong age, no mobility, no real quality and absolutely not going to get Rangers to where they need to be. There will be people who tell me I am wrong and that he will fill the homegrown quota etc etc, but I don’t care. This is just a total drain on the wage bill. First signing Rangers have got wrong this summer.
I like to use this video in my mental health class I teach at my job. Reason behind is one of our team members took his own life and all of us didn’t expect it. Always the happiest person at work, always joking around, and made everyone feel good. He got along with everyone but he would also be quiet sometimes we thought that was just him relaxing. Well after he took his own life found out he just used that as his “makeup” apparently he was battling his mental illness for years and never told anyone because he didn’t want to be a burden. He wanted to make people feel good and never focused on himself. But this video like I said is a good example people struggling with mental health can hide it easy and you would never expect it.
I would like to show it my parents but they don't know english, could you add subtitles in polish please and as I think so in other languages? Thank you for this full of power material.

Just a thought. Maybe the other man was “struggling” too. But after his friend unalived himself, he finally decided to keep living on as a tribute for his friend
Brilliant interview. Like the look of these 2. When We***r was here it seemed like it was all about him. Arrogant bloke. With knapper he seems to quietly go about his business. Hopefully this is the start of something special. Unfortunately nothing will properly get going until Delia gets gone and attanasio comes in
Say what u want about Norwich as a football team but what they have just posted about mental health is brilliant. A class act. My respect for Norwich has increased 📈
