Thank you for a fun review. I have been a huge Megatron fan since the original cartoon came out. As you stated, this should be used as a display piece. I say that because I have a big head and do not see this fitting ha-ha. I'm still up in the air about getting this for my birthday which is coming up, but we shall see. Have a great one!
Love the body sculpt and accessories, don't love the head sculpt. Worth it to swap it to something Ymtoys or a better Reika head sculpt. Disappointing face sculpt for this price honestly.
I wasn't too familiar with the film before I picked up the figure. But, yes they definitely could have done more with the head sculpt. It's been a while since I picked her up, but I definitely remember her being less expensive than most 1/6 figures. -G.Q.
@CultureJunkies well I mean , if TBL can get away with this head sculpt and call her Reika, you can absolutely 💯 kitbash it until you're happy with the results. I'd suggest the YMT088 Ymtoys head. Check it out. It could certainly be another artistic take on Reika, I mean really it's the outfit that matters. Also her bust is definitely not this big in the movies or anime either. Neither does she ever wear her suit like this with only 1/3 of it on. Lol
Great video, quick question where do you get the acrylic cases you use for the certificates of authenticity? I have looked all around but haven't found any big enough. Thanks for making these videos.
You can find them on Amazon. RU-vid probably won't let me put the link in, but here's what you can search for and they will come up. Search for "acrylic frames 4x6" and it will be one of the first results. -G.Q.
Well as a Mexican i can tell G.Q that here they can indeed take care of the football fields, what happened a few years ago with the NFL and the Azteca Stadium was that the stadium allowed a Shakira concert a few weeks before the game and they grass was destroyed ( of course thats the fault of the stadium guys) and this year there wont be a Mexico game because they Azteca Stadium is under renovation.
Make sure you don't strip the screw. It is designed to not come out, just loosen it as much as you can, then use something thin along with gravity, to let the compartment open up for you. -G.Q.
"for me who've been playing these games for years and have a lot of legacy skill, fighting games are not hard to learn" Jokes aside, yes fighting games are objectivelly hard to learn. I would have loved to learn them back in the day, if the tutorial didn't suck dick and balls. Immagine have so bad tutorials for so many years that the only way to learn is to either eat shit for 30 hours or getting a coach. Only now we have fighting games with good tutorials, like guilty gear or st6
Tekken 2 (yes I know it's old) had one of the best tutorial/training modes ever created in its day. For a modern game, Street Fighter 6 has a really robust training mode. One of the man issues you run into is you have to deal with Frame Data in modern fighting games, and that's where the learning curve starts going up and many newer players will get frustrated. But yeah, with Street Fighter being an over 35 year old franchise, there's always going to be some legacy skilled players to deal with. - G.Q.

Honestly it depends. I get a lot direct from Sideshow, but I'm a huge fan of shopping while on vacation, so I hit up comic shops and collectible stores in all the major cities I visit. Sorry for the late reply. -G.Q.
Sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately this might be one of those "hope it pops up on Ebay" items. I was able to get mine because someone in Poland bought up a huge quantity of the cancelled collector's editions, and he was selling them for a fairly reasonable price (around $150 at the time) when I did this video. -G.Q.
Maybe since the budget was $150 mil and not sure what age the audience would be for a beloved character from the 80’s, Dial Of Destiny which bombed, they wanted to be more careful.
Sorry for the late reply, just now seeing this. Unfortunately, she's sold out on Sideshow's website. So you're only real option is Ebay, unless you find one in a local shop. -G.Q.
Sorry for the late reply. Finally getting a good chance to catch up on comments between making new unboxing videos. Yeah, I missed out on him the first time around when he was released for the Avengers film, but Endgame game us a perfect chance to see him re-released. Were you pleased with yours when he arrived? Thank you for the sub! -G.Q.
Personally, I could not get into Batman Beyond; and not because someone else is Batman (I actually like the concept of the show). It's the overall presentation; it scrapped everything that made B:TAS appealing. In fairness, TNBA (and the greater DCAU) was already a pale successor to B:TAS; the over-simplified art style, strange character redesigns, and the Flanderization of Batman/Bruce.
For me, it was a series that grew on me over time. I didn't like it at first because of the natural desire to compare it to BTAS. Eventually my stance on it softened and I could appreciate some of the nuance of certain episodes. -G.Q.
I finished watching Batman Beyond last year, so to hear this interview where the show is still on the air makes me feel like I'm there in the peak era of animated Batman. Amazing footage.
Yeah, having the chance to meet him and speak with him was a great honor. Truly a class act and the definitive voice for that character! I'm glad you enjoyed watching this. -G.Q.
That honestly would be DOPE AF. Anything is possible honestly. I've always wondered how they were going to handle the complicated family history of Kang and Reed Richards given how they look physically.
What they shoild have done in 2015 was begin releasing a new version with the same story. Where the time machine was created in 2015 and they go back to 1985 and have their 80s version of the enchantment under the sea dance. Ive been saying this since 2015.
Sorry for the late reply, unfortunately I don't believe so. The gentleman I purchased mine from (he also makes them) only had Facebook as a contact option. -G.Q.
@@CultureJunkies Saberspark mentioned it on his Netflix Maraduke review. Some company called legendary bought the rights to heathcliff. And are making a heathcliff reboot movie and tv series
Back in the late 1960's and early 1970's I bought as many issues Neal Adams drew as I could. In those days the prices were still affordable. First I started with the X-men issues 56 thru 63, then I was able to buy Green Lantern Green Arrow issues 76 thru 87. Next I was able to buy Deadman Strange Adventures issues 206 thru 210. The Amazing Adventures 5 thru 8 issues were rare, but I was patient and waited for them. The Avengers 93 thru 96 as they issued out. The Savage Sword of Conan and The Deadly Hands of Kung Fu (for the cover art) I wasn't able to buy The Spectre Neal Adams issues.
This item is from @fedoraiders, His name is Jason. This is his latest variant. It is the closest he's come to the original. The original hero Glaive version just recently sold at auction for over $68,000. Jason's Glaive looks very close to it. Like yours, I have one of his Glaives based on the latest design. It was not cheap, but I HAD to have it. If you see my thumbnail, that is an image of my Glaive. You don't want to throw this version, as this is NOT the version that can be thrown. The thrown version is a solid skeleton with static, non-removable blades being part of it. Sadly, that version can't be sold to the USA as US customs would confiscate it. I would have opted for that version if that wasn't the case. Congrats on your purchase! Glad to see someone who shares the same enthusiasm to the movie Krull as I! Jason does great work, and has been making the Glaive for over a decade. Anyone who's thinking of getting one of these, it's highly recommended!!
