Saw you post regarding the temps It seems that these temps are "normal" I have the same cpu (custom wc with 360) and temps are around 55-65° gaming in 4k, checked in 2k and are around 65-75° So from what I could read and see, this cpu temps are normal
Hi man, could you re do this test now the game has been launch? If you could do it 1080p max settings on a dust 2 online death match I would be forever thankfull. I'm thinking of buying this graphics card in november.
Sure, I'll do that I can't get the MSI after burner to work and CS2 has no net_graph so I'll do it with cl_showfps 1 but I'm telling you this card is meant for 1440p or 4K not 1080p really. I'll upload the test in 1-2 days
@@BigDaddyVergil thank you so much. I am using the fps counter from steam, it is better than the cl_showfps. You can find it at steam settings -> in game.
@@BigDaddyVergil I do know this card is meant for bigger resolutions, but I am going to build this pc to last longer than my previous one, so I think it is worth it. So it will be more future proof, and then in the future I can grab a 2k monitor. In this pc I dont wanna make the same mistake with my previous one, that it was an intermediate pc, good at the time, but now I want to upgrade it 2 years later. And this card is a beast on cod warzone
i did make the video but steam fps counter did not show up in the recording it was around 300-400fps and jerky in the begining then it stopped being jerky link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oF8KKkCl4nU.html
Your cpu could need an upgrade to push gpu towards 100% usage. My 5800x3d pushes my 7900xtx nitro to around 70-80% usage giving me 400-600 fps at High settings with only 1600x1200 stretch. 2560x1440p im around 90% usage
Could be only in CS2 my GPU pushed 100% @ 400w on most of the high demanding games such as Hogwarts legacy / starfield while maintaing stable 120-144fps
@@BigDaddyVergil hmm wierd. But know what ya mean. Same goes for me. Most other games thats more graphic demanding easy goes 100% but cs2 i noticed Big frame boost due to the x3d chip vs my Old 5800x
@@nordskov55 it's the V-Cache counter strike is very CPU dependant but this benchmark was done on pirated CS2 since I didn't get access to it so that could be the issue, once CS2 releases I will re test it
@@BigDaddyVergil true but by the looks of gpu usage it looks like its bottlenecking a bit. My wifes i7 8700 and 6600 actually does 200-350 at High settings but the cpu pushes the gpu to 100% so shes gpu bound. Wheres my 7900xtx and 5800x3d with slight overclock from 4450 to 4560mhz allcore is bottlenecking the gpu by 20-30% since it cant run it at 100% unless i go 4K res. The Old i7 8700 and 6600 runs 200-350 and the 5800x3d around 400-600 while playing deathmatch
thank you for testing on max settings and not buying a 1000 gpu to run it on all Low settings where you would have been bottleneck by the cpu... and could have used any other gpu in that case
Mine did that and on battlefield 2042. PCI-E connection were plugged into the incorrect positions in the modular power supply. Move them to the PCI-E then performed perfect
@@bLACKHACKXBro you would be dumb to play 1080p on this build honestly. Ur gpu is straight overkill for 1080 it even is a overkill on 1440p on some games
