My FAVORITE fighter of the late 00s and early 10s. I was a fan after his first fight on HBO's B A D. and I was never disappointed in making an investment as a fan (which happens 9 times out of 10 in boxing) But he fought often and always put on a good fight. I was on the edge of my seat when he fought Paul WIlliams the first time, I was jumping up and down when he took the Middleweight crown from Pavlik, I was there for EVERY defense, and I cheered him on when he took on the Weight gain King Chavez the Cruiserweight Middleweight Paper Champion and I even held out hope when he fought Cotto on two obviously worn out knees. It was thrilling to WATCH
Ali wasn't as simple; he added being able to smoothly punch while punching from range; he added being able to move well laterally; he added good head movement while moving back; he was able to use flashy head movement at times while leaning in forward; he also added that Ali clinched a lot and bounced a lot to, srr era is very overextending a lot of times to the body and is very hesitant in most movements. They don't fight from range much; they leave themselves open a lot of times, and a lot of times they will just throw to the body and not protect themselves. They use mostly counters when up close. The lateral movement is very basic. They don't seem to be able to punch from a distance while doing it smoothly. They have to stop and then punch most of the time. Their feet are mostly tiptoeing, this is how each really fought in full rounds
