@@blackrookgaming All good, Kdenlive my favorite video editor! Tried many, Resolve is "pro", only use it in Win-dose, for Linux, Kdenlive the way to go!
It's been a while since I left Kdenlive... Bug after bug in each release, there are bugs even in versions that are released to convert bugs... It doesn't bring more impactful tools/resources in the new versions... and worse, things that worked in the previous version stop working in the new version... I had stopped using it but it continued to make the project worse... now I also no longer support the project until they make really competent software and hire professionals who know what they are doing, whether paid or volunteer, it doesn't matter

@@Tech_with_Loco But video card driver problems are one thing, software problems are another... Kdenlive alone causes the problems... Driver conflicts are quite common... In fact, it's more of Windows 11's fault, sometimes I think Microsoft's plans aren't very good for us users, lol
Hey brother, your videos are a great help. Quick question. I’m having trouble with overlays. I’m using a png as border at the bottom of a video but when I add other layers such as a title clip and subscribe now clip it seems to move the border to the area where other overlay are when they come in. Any help would be great.
Same video, same effects, subtitles, titles and audio. WIN 11 CPU usage pegged at 100% for almost the entire video, Mint OS just worked, average 30% CPU usage. And Win-doze was on the faster drive? Both SSD's were fresh installs with all updates available. Kdenlive 23.08.2 version.
Kdenlive and mini PC tests continue, added SSD to mini, loaded Mint 21.2 OS. Mini now renders in half the time! OBS stuttered in WIN 11! Works perfectly on Mint! If you edit on a mini (R7 5700U by Beelink), try MINT, WIN 11 does not work well with Kdenlive, my favorite editor.
Hi, when I put a PNG on my video it makes the background video darker and it creates a brighter rectangular frame on the png. Do you know how to solve it?
Never had that issue, how did you create PNG? Try to find some free PNG's to see if it's your PNG or another issue. I used GIMP to create transparent PNG. Overlay PNGs are different than a subject only PNG.
I have seen people use old doors or windows! Attach whatever to the wall (with French cleat) and just slide bed up close to it. The one shown is a steel 10" platform bed and a steel and padding headboard.
Amazing Video and great footage! I subscribed to see more Videos made by you. Kdenlive is a great Software. I use it myself too and create cinematic Videos. Keep it up bro! 👌🏽
I see Neewer has the next bigger light kit at a reduced price. NL 660 bi-color, no remote, uses phone app to control light settings. I do NOT work for Neewer! I enjoy affordable video/photo gear that works.
Hey man, cool seeing you play Beat Saber. Quite fun innit. You know the blocks with the dots, you don't have to "Stab/poke them" you can slash them any way you wan't (kinda like the other blocks), but keep it up!
Did you have to change any settings to get Kden to use all of your threads, or is this now the default? When I have used Kden in the past, it would only use one core at a time. It would change the core that was used when the temp of that core was running hot. Just wondering if this was a setting, or the default now. I have not used Kden for a while and don't even have it installed on this computer. Just curious and thanks for the video. Cheers.
Started using Kdenlive with Mint 19.3, had to set it then in render settings. Mint 20.3 was a fresh, "clean" ssd, it came up 16 threads. You can still modify thread count to suit your needs.
@@Tech_with_Loco I am using Ubuntu 20.04 with a Unity desktop. I think I will be upgrading to Ubuntu 22.04 when it is released this month and I will probably install Kdenlive at that point. I think I will give the Gnome desktop environment a try for a week or instead of installing Unity right away. I may even start tinkering with OBS just to see what that is like. I have mostly just used traditional screen recorders like RecordMyDesktop and others. Whatever seems to be working the best when I do an upgrade. Right now I just use SimpleScreenRecorder and don't really have any issues with that. But I would like to see what all OBS is capable of doing at some point.
Approximately 45K, many variables, 3 feet of concrete around pool included. This was early 2020, price has gone up for pool itself, labor, and concrete. Included was pool pump and equipment, all Pentair, quiet and efficient! My last pool 1997, a gunite pool was 25K, about same size. Good luck with gunite pool prices! Get multiple quotes and check builders background. At our location, builders are backed up for months.
At the time, early 2020, gunnite pool builders never called back? Our last pool was gunnite, water chemistry (mainly PH/alkalinity) was harder to manage than the fiberglass pool. I always try to get multiple bids on everything. Gunnite pools need to be re plastered at 10 to 15 years (not cheap). Our fiberglass pool came with a 30 year warranty. Easy to clean and water chemistry is stable. Definitely check them out, we enjoy ours completely.
