What are tour blues and white on the 40 dollar one I recently got one to go with my kessil a80 because it’s only around 12 watts and this light is 20 trying to see what I should end my blues and whites at I currently am ramping them up daily and am at 35 blues 25 whites
I also caught one recently as a juvenile. Named mine noodle. I’d love to connect with you and share our experiences as our snakes grow! I don’t know any other rubber boa owners.
@@xpier.s7902I bought mine a pinky but it didn’t want it. They only eat once every 1-6 months due to being low temperature snakes. What would you recommend to get them eating in captivity?
@@Igobyquan_ yeah been thinking that aswell got something really cool in the works a 70 gallon tall :) but for now until i complete it he’s gonna be in here. The tank is a 29 gallon and I knew I’d have to upgrade
How was that 1 with the 2 hour round ball for 70 bucks?I'm thinking about doing that for my 90 gallon right now.T five h o's in a black box on it for blue
I've got a CBB Shasta-locality northern alligator. Pretty rare to find them in the hobby, at least here on the east coast, let alone CBB ones. If you ever have any spares please let me know! Would be really cool to have more available in the hobby
@@DrakeDragonheart I’d love atttepting to breed these lizards but I’d have to look more into it, near my house I have a spot where these lizards are absolutely everywhere
I do not claim to be an expert I got a couple things wrong in this vid such as saying I feed bugs every other day to my crestie I truly feed him bugs once or twice a week and use the powder based food the other times
I’ve used ivy is a couple systems before as it was recommended to me and has worked very well but now that I am looking further into it I’m seeing some ppl say to avoid it I will continue to do my research and will remove if needed for now nothing in the tank will eat it
@@xpier.s7902 maybe you know but ivy is poisonous when a leave will be cuttet or something breaks up there will flow out kind of juice. when a human get these over the skin you will get Skin irritation. I dont know if it is the same with animals but thats the only thing I know. Im sorry for my english.
Hi, i have a question. How did you made the waterfall feature in your northern aligater lizard terrarium cause i cant found any thinks that show it. did you did it with a expanding foam and silicon and cover that up with stones and plants and so on or did you build up all your thinks on filter foam or so. Im realy interested.
You seem to have nailed it this tank was heavily inspired by serpadesighs fire belly toad vivarium I used gaps and cracks expanding foam around a big base and used filter foam behind that layer of expanding foam for the water to easily pass through the 2 layers of foam and have a good waterfall I am actively working on a build that is the same concept and will be posting it soon for more clarification thank you so much for showing your interest!!! If that was not clear I can retry typing it aswell 😂🐸
@@xpier.s7902 I written a long answer and it seemed the comment is away. It says there are 3 more comments but there are only 2. Well then I'll rewrite it. I have an Leopardgecko terrrarium and I want to rebuild at. But i also want to build an big Jungle Vivarium. But i tought I should do a smaller before as an preparing (30x30x30 cm). I just have theoretical experiance with that kind of terrariums. I saw that video from serpadesigns. Such Videos like yours, Serpadesigns, Terrarium Designs, Ants Canada, Small scale Tales, Dr. Plants and so on are good enterteining but I learn realy much over an completely year I saw very much and I know much but that is not comparable to practical knowledge. Your Channel is realy good cause you show that you can build an great terrarium without spending 500 dollars. you show that everybody can Build this and thats what I like on you channel. By the way Your waterfall feature looks very natural. keep going. I like your videos Edit: Why im writing so much. I Just Talk about random Things. Thanks for your description about the Build of your northern Alligator vivarium.
in my opionion i would paint the glass on the left side black were you can see the construction foam. i think it will look better. it actually looks good. keep going
I actually already started 😂 I wanted to get the vid out and was just painting for the paint to ship amazing recommendation thank you for your comment!
@@xpier.s7902 ah thats nice. im realy looking for a video were you show these terrarium in a few months or so to show the plants how they grewn. I realy like these terrarium and i think it will look very natural when all the plants started growing.
Anoles could be very cool I have a couple in my Cohab tanks atm if I were to go for another tank with them I would be leaning towards a monkey anole or a false chameleon thank you for the comment! I will look into some cool anoles further
I am not lol due to working at a fish/pet store and being trusted a lot of ppl gave me setups and I’m so grateful to have the tanks others trusted to me with
I used to keep a trio of newts in this tank at one point such fun and rewarding animals. Thank you for the comment the moist environment would make amazing for a amphibian and a couple I have my eyes on are, tomato frogs🍅, dart frogs, chubby frog or something of that nature with a large body I love these kind of frogs (sorry I rambled)
Not completely sure on the ages of my salamanders off the top of my head I took them in about 5 months ago, I do know the sex of each as they are very distinguishable from eachother :)
