We are a small farm located in Northeast Alabama and we are putting our progress out for everyone to see. We currently only have chickens but have had cattle on the farm as well. We are in the process of building a house on the farm to move in to manage the farm tasks better each day. Follow along with us as we build and learn on the farm. We have all the links to our social media pages in the Linktree site listed here, we also are posting all of the items we use in our Amazon Storefront that is also listed on Linktree. #1165329
4 washers go on outside of the rollers. pin and clip hold the advance rod in, and the thrust washers under the spring, sit the plunger upright with the spacer under it on the wave plate put spring and washers on then lower the head on to it
That Victron unit was designed to be placed in a vertical orientation. You need to shear off a few inches of the cover at the top to allow for more airflow in that orientation.
Splicing AC lines like that is dangerous. You should have used lugs. If you put a thermal camera on that connection, you will see that it going to generate a fair amount of heat. That is lost voltage. Please spend the $20 and put lugs on that splice.
Thank you for this. I have the same tractor and this is so helpful. As you stated there is no video I could find on this pump either. Best of luck on the reassembly. Looking forward to seeing it. Curious to what was causing the cooling leak with the engine? I looked for a follow up on it and didn’t see it? May have looked in the wrong place.
Hey, thank you! We actually had a blown head gasket but the camera we were using as card was corrupted so we lost a good bit of footage. Still trying to work on getting it back for a follow up video, hopefully we can. lol
The red and black cable we pulled out and ran new as this cable wasn’t big enough to handle the amperage we were putting out. As for the brown wire I apologize it I don’t remember lol, I’ll look back at my footage and try to jog my memory on what we did there.
Ive been running kioti tractors and utv for 10 years now. Great equipment. I do commercial mowing with mine, so my rx7320 pulls a batwing 95% of the time and my NX5510 pulled a 6/7 foot cutter and a 15' finish mower, my mechron 2240 utv hauls a 55 gallon sprayer daily for Rite of way maintenance. Really happy with kioti
Yes Sir. We found that about 2 were leaking when we disassembled. We sent the head to a local machine shop and they re-worked it and it looks great now. Hopefully reassembly will go smooth also. Lol
hello Greene creek, i still need a little help with my lift. i made a short video of my problem. can you please watch it and when you can record a video of yours that will help. i found service manual and repair manual but still have trouble.here is my video , ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6HMhFD4u9tQ.html THANK YOU
Check your injection pump if you have diesel in your oil. Had the o-ring give up the injector drive on a MF and it caused the engine to run away. Got it shut down before it blew.
No one else shows all the 12v wiring and the details of the install they just show everything hooked up magically, thanks for showing the under belly, the fuse boxes. Was looking for exactly this in a video!
I'm having the same symptoms. Battery voltage is good, and I can hear the solenoid engaging, but I didn't check voltage on the starter. I'm gunna do that next chance i get and see if my issue is also the ground. Thank you so much for posting this video!
Hello! I will create captivating thumbnails for You, eventually realize Your idea to let the channel grow. If this takes your interest, please respond beneath this comment. :)
could you please post a video of the battery compartments , i don’t know what side is positive/ negative for my repair. also the door above the charger. and looks like they stole my emergency battery disconnect and cut the wires off. any help would be greatly appreciated. i’ve been trying for weeks now to figure this out. THANK YOU
Hey. sorry about the delay in responding. I couldn't get to the farm to take a picture of the battery compartments but i did find my manual and wiring diagram. You will have to make sure your model number matches up but here is the link to my google drive, the folder skyjack has both the manual and wiring diagram in it. Hope this helps. drive.google.com/drive/folders/1eNYlsi5Zim8ejbW5fRn80x50Z19QHx-6?usp=share_link
Well the 47hp will do all of it but I will tell you ours has air and it struggles a bit cutting high grass. I run a 6 foot disc mower and it runs it well. If I am cutting thick stuff like this past summer we cut some fields that were overgrown, about 6 foot tall grass. It was getting a little hot but it never did bog down. I run a Vermeer 540c, it’s 4x5 baler also and it runs smooth as glass so I don’t believe you will have an issue at all with the baler. If you are gonna cut some high grass often I would go with a 50hp or more. If you are going to just cut 2 or 3 foot grass I think you will be pleased with the 4710 in my opinion.
I am running a 6 foot disc mower, it is a Kverneland, I’m not sure which model it is it’s pretty old. That Kioti is a 47 hp and it cuts pretty well, I got in some 6 foot grass and I had to slow down to make sure it cut low enough but it does great so far.
I don’t believe I do, I will look and see if I have one. We ended up tracing down all of our issues but we didn’t have any cut wires so it was easier for us to do that. I’ll look and see if I have a wiring diagram or manual.
Yes, sorry for the delay on it. We had some adjustments we recently did and wanted to include them in the second part. It will be up tomorrow night at 5pm.
Good day from Ontario. I have 574 too. The tires look like 36-38 in Yes that oil does not look right. Many yrs ago I bought Allios B cheap, changed oil & water came out 1st very small amt. Good luck , want to see more. Thanks
Kioti DK4710se is a complete piece of GARBAGE. Don’t even get me started. But the Kioti DK4711sf, now that’s a sweet ride. SWEET AF. That’ll lay pipe like your sister.
I have that same color roofing on my house and barn and it's what I'm going to put on my 40'x48' pole barn. A self-leveling setup on the tractor would really come in handy with your steel cage. Great job!
Don't let anyone tell you setting metal roof trusses is easy or quick. You did a great job of making sure the first and second trusses were set correctly and that made the rest of them go up easier. Great job!
What a struggle !, i was also thinking about applying a small gas torch to loosen the bearing cage, but i would of failed really bad. The oxy ocsetalin axe was the master :-D I assume the metal part was a bearing cage, i know nothing about that machine.
Yea, we were scratching our head for a way to get it off without the torch and we couldn’t think of anything else we could do. We have a lot of learning to do on that baler as well. Hopefully we will be able to get it going before the winter.
Hey, yes this is a DIY construction. I am trying to have everything on the channel video and we did video of most everything that we did along the way. We aren’t finished yet but I should be very close to getting caught up to the point we are now.
It’s possible we just chose a post frame home for the simplicity plus we were able to build it in stages which made it much easier financially. We build the pole barn first then started with the rest of the framing. Now if we had to have a general contractor and not done the work ourselves the cost would have been much much higher to build for us.
You are absolutely correct. This one had been leaning for years before I purchased the property. We would mow around it until we noticed it being dead and hollow, then we decided to take it down!
