Dislike for subjecting us to that horrid noise pollution instead of perhaps someone telling us (in a CLEAR, NON-BOT voice) some pertinent information about the aircraft shown.
Отличные монопланы с классными возможностями взлёта и посадки на любом пяточке земли. Я могу пока только мечтать о таких самолётах.Люблю малую авиацию.
*!!!!!Wow!!!!!* That black Piper Super Cub got off the ground and into the air ... and onto the ground and stopped ... in just over the length of the airplane!!!!! That is extremely impressive! Anyone know the specs on that specific airplane --- especially weight and engine HP ??? I understand these videos are not in similar enough conditions to provide accurate comparisons between the different airplanes ... but is the PiperSuperCub really as much better in takeoff and landing distance as these videos make it appear? PS: I do understand the PiperSuperCub is not side-by-side seating like most/all the other airplanes, which presumably is part of the reason the performance is [or appears] so much better. And I too prefer side-by-side seating, but what else explains the apparent difference?
These videos are laughable. The best back country plane is the Rans S21 Outbound with two factory engine choices. An SLSA version and a constant speed prop eLSA version. And if prices is no option and you want to do commercial level work then Cessna 206H Stationair, Cessna 208 Caravan are your beasts.
That "Piper Super Cub" in the beginning is anything but a Super Cub. Cubs are great airplane if all you want to carry is two people and a knapsack. Slowly.
In 1970 I was recued off a mountain at 11,000 feet in Papua New Guinea by a pilot of a push pull aircraft. The drivers of the pick up vehicles had died in a landslide. The pilot was very brave.
Why do you-tubers feel they need music or at least music loud? Lose the music please. One skill is building aircraft. Second skills is creating videos. Third is building music within a video. Its rare that a person will have two of these skills.
The SuperSTOL is more of a competition plane. A one trick pony. The Highlander is a more reasonable choice for most people. Cheaper to build, faster cruise, more useful load, and still excellent STOL capabilities.
That Titan Mustang take off looked like it was on the wrong side of the drag curve! Needs to get that tail higher and that wing flying more before rotating.
I remember as a boy sitting in the right seat next to my father behind a Pratt & Whitney R-985 on the front of a Beechcraft D17S. I'd pump up the fuel pressure with the wobble pump and as my dad brought the "Wasp Jr." to life the aroma of exhaust would fill the cabin. GOD I MISS THOSE DAYS!
