A little late but I rebuilt my trans using this video and I used the traxxas silicone grease as described in the video but it leaked everywhere leaving my diff dry. I have recently learned that the rustler stock diff isn't sealed so a thin grease or oil will just leak out. It seems a thicker grease like the one used in the video will work a lot better in the rustler diff.
Glad you're back but a better thumbnail would help your announcement of your return I mean your old video's got as many view as the jang that's incredible
Hi i have a monster truck from 2006 and has a 2215 tx-tal reciever in it and a tq3 transmitter which has three channel switches on it a on/off and two trim dials,I bought this in 2006 run 6 tanks threw the machine everything worked fine then never used again until today, now with new batteries switched on controls do nothing but i can start motor and manually rev it up.the reciever is getting 6v but do they break down in the crystals over time ? any help would be greatful
We hot glue or tape the holes closed in the rims whenever we get new tires to prevent water from getting in there in the first place. Some tires are ribbed on the inside (Arrma Notorious Backflips for example) and so you would only drain the ribbed section that you drilled. The remaining ribs would work like dams holding the water. But this simple fix does work on most tires, and some tires are even vented on the outside from the factory.

Hello again DEH! I hope you are doing well! I remember watching you videos middle school which is what got me into the RC hobby. My first job even was at my local hobby throughout high school. Now I am 2 weeks away from graduating with a Mechanical Engineering degree. I doubt I would be this interested in pursuing the degree without learning about the hobby we know and love. Thank you for sharing your RC hobby over the years and making a great impact on myself and many others. I look forward to watching what comes next! - Jim
Oooh! Can't wait to see em. Was just watching some of the old build series of the Bandit, and Slash 4x4. Still hoping to see that Nexus Saga finished. Gonna be fun watching your new vids again!
