A tip as a CRG go kart driver who races around this track for practise every week, the rumble strip (white a red thing on the side) after the finish line mark on the track, go over that and that will take off tons of time, another tip is brake earlier and try get into the corners as much as possible, be confident on the throttle more as well, i promise you if you do this it will take off -1sec minimum. hope this helps :):):):)))))))
@@RPGtracker thanks for tips! Can you explain being “confident on the throttle” a bit? One thing a noticed in my later sessions is that if i accelerate hard out of the corner and release the brake immediately, my tires would squeal a bit and my rear may slide ever so slightly. I was told if i gradually take my foot of the brake and accelerate gradually as well then it will be a smoother corner. What are your thoughts?
@@SyedMNabeel when I say confident on the throttle I mean try and use the throttle in more areas of the track instead of letting it run neutral in specific sectors or turns. And when you floor the pedal it will put more gas in the engine than it should and it will spin the wheels, try just gradually pushing the throttle down until you feel confident enough to floor out of the corner or into the corner. I’m thinking of buying a go pro so then I can film a video and explain in better detail. Hope this helps you on your next session brother 💪
@@SyedMNabeel Np! Also grab the wheel at a 9:15 position or a 3:45 position. This will give you more control over the kart and is a better option for grip ⭐️
Hey! The heat is deadly. Check out my session at YAS Kartzone which I uploaded today. We went at 16:30 and man was I done after just one session. It becomes unbearable after a few laps.
Hey I recently visited Dubai kartdrome and it seems like the new karts have those extended seats, from what I know aren’t these indoor karts running on an outdoor circuit? Wouldn’t this affect lap times ?
Yes, there are new karts at Dubai outdoor circuits. I have heard people claim they are about 2 seconds slower and the older ones were faster. Still they are powerful enough to have fun!
@@SyedMNabeel is there a way to get the old Sodi kart? I’m trying to qualify for the rmax karts, it used to be 1.15 lap time requirement but they have knocked it down to 1.14 + this slower kart with a limiter, on the long home straight I can feel the kart hit the limiter
@@roflmaster i don’t know of any way. Maybe if you know the staff 😄 I still see people do 1:15 on the newer karts and some even do less than that so its possible i believe. All the best!
@@SyedMNabeel try to be more aggressive.but also make sure ur going for the right racing line,ur letting the kart drift,u should try to balance it and maximize grip
