I'm preparing to turn my van into a shelter in case of power outages, earthquakes, tornadoes, fires or any other natural disaster that may occur. Also, I plan to camp or boondock. The first thing on my list was to install flexible solar panels. Living OFF-GRID requires some planning and initial cost. So calculate, make a plan and try to stick to it. Also, living in a vehicle requires some backup in case of a break down. So try and have something saved and try to have a mechanic you trust already setup.
