Oh, how I miss singing and hearing beautiful anthems like this is churches today! This is my all-time favorite. Beautiful job! God bless your music ministry!
@@ronny5211Es sind unterschiedliche Lieder, es ist wunderschön gesungen. Manche Lieder werden leider nicht so oft von Chören gesungen, und hochgeladen. Warum auch immer. Gerade deshalb fällt es mir auf.
This should be my prayer *every* day, especially in 2020! Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace; Where there is hatred, Let me sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; Where there is sadness, joy; And all for thy mercy's sake. O divine Master, Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; To be understood as to understand; To be loved as to love; For it is in giving hat we receive; It is in pardoning that we are pardoned; And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
The Pianist is Amazing! I wished the camera had showed his face. Congratulations to the Choir director, I bet Ralph Manuel is proud of you and the Choir
Watch out for the bass notes in mm. 6, 14 and 22! That's a B natural, and should function as a V/vi in 1st inversion, and not a V! Changes the color completely.
May I ask if you have the chorale arrangement of this song? I can't seem to find it online. I would really like to be able to use it for a chorale recital I'm preparing for.
a Gift to my Soul... I´m so exciting with this music... very deep feeling... AWESOME PIANST...i so enjoy every time when i listen this video...GOD BLESS YOU
Beautifully done! Mark Hayes is always a favorite of mine. His arrangements have such beauty that is matched with an incredible amount of required technique. However, I do feel as though the piece could have been more as he describes. Playing in the style of Rachmaninoff is VERY hard to master, but given the technique you’ve shown in this video, I feel like it could have been done a little better. Expression and creativity is what makes this piece. Maybe try a little more rubato throughout. What really helped me with this piece was memorizing the verses for each section and highlighting each one on their own. Happy playing!! :)
