Fun fact: The very last video the band made. They had lost so much interest in continuing that one of the members wanted to stay home and watch Shogun instead of make the video so they had a double for him in the silhouette scene!
The cover of Anchor Me by a hodge podge of part-time, keen amateur Kiwi musicians (in training...on their mother's side of the family...etc) for the purpose of flagship'ing some political or social justice issue which I can't recall and have no interest in doing so, is such pure audio dog$hit, it was a shoo-in to get recorded and promoted, since that's just how things work these days. I endured about 30 seconds of the thing in order to uncover this truth, so you don't have to. (No, really: DONT GO THERE). PS: If you examine the lyrics to Heater deeply enough, you'll discover some of the most unexpectedly obscure, deep references (IMO), inc. biblical (wire and clay), alchemical (transformation via heat), and more. This might sound obscure (okay, this is obscure), but the fact that the protagonist's name is Frank, leads to the _"Frank Frank, Frankincnse"_ line. Another Biblical reference, of course, and beautifully lyrically crafty, but also, a sly way to encode / encrypt a 666 reference into the lyrics, sub textually. (Per letter-to-number substitution cipher, F is code for 6, ergo FFF = 666.) Sounds whacky, I know...but humour me if you will: what's the opening line in Anchor Me again? Oh yeah, that's right: *_"Full Fathom Five"_* ;)
ITS MOMENTS LIKE THIS (WHEN I FIND CLASIC MUSIC THAT SENDS ME BACK IN TIME WITHOUT A TARDIS, HANG ON MAYBE THE MUSIC ITSELF "IS" THE TARDIS ) THAT I GO LOOPY QUITE LITERALLY ,TURN THE VOLUME UP MAX PRESS THE LOOP VIDEO BUTTON AND PISS THE NEIGHBOURS OFF FOR HOURS & HOURS
