O, die trui wordt mooi ! Ik hoop dat het nog bijtrekt met je extra ruimte op de rugzijde... ( maar dan zijn patronen van Steingass denk ik wel iets voor mij - ik ben niet perse petite, maar heb wel een kleine buste.. ). En die lang jawoll.... Ik vind het altijd zo leuk, al die kleuren, dat ik de verleiding amper kan weerstaan wanneer ik mijn lys binnen loop... en nee, ik moet écht niet elke keer een paar bollen meenemen, hahaha Beterschap voor jullie ! Binx klinkt trouwens weer heel gezellig !

Thank you! Still have sock 2 to do all the stockinette on, but with less light the darker blue is a bit harder to see with 2.25mm needles... But I'll get there one day!
Yeah for good medical news! Hope your recovery is well on its way now. Take care. I love all the socks - that’s pretty much where my brain is at the moment. (Although your cabled MKAL looks absolutely, mind-bogglingly fantastic!) Enjoy the staycation - I love those for myself. Thank you Linda! I did skip some regular household chores, meaning mount Washmore grew a bit too big! But we also tried some fun things, so that was nice.
Hoera voor goede uitslagen ! Ik hoop dat je dan na de booster en de gyneacoloog een tijdje verlost bent van medische afspraken ? Het klinkt alsof je daarna wel weer aan vakantie toe bent, met al die drukte en dan nog zo'n lekkere bacterie tussendoor.... Wat een gave wolletjes heb je gescoord ! Dat Applesauce patroon is inderdaad mooi trouwens ! Maar tenzij je hem morgen af hebt, vrees ik dat je hem dit jaar niet zou kunnen dragen 😉 Je trui wordt heel mooi. En neon, hij lijkt haast wel licht te geven 😁 Succes met al die mooie sokkenpatronen ! Ik heb net maar weer eens een shawl opgezet, had het na de Solarflares sokken wel even gezien. Die waren toe-up en met een fleegle heel - voor mij nieuw en het was me een behoorlijke uitdaging.
Dankjewel! Ja even geen ziekenhuis voorlopig hopelijk! Ik moet de tweede kleur voor de Applesauce nog verzinnen dus ja die is pas voor volgend jaar of het jaar daarna of... Welke shawl heb je opgezet?

Ha, je hoort hem goed spinnen ! Zo leuk ! Je trui wordt prachtig 🤩🤩 ( xo kabels zijn ook niet mijn favoriet.. ) Succes met de scans, en vooral veel sterkte met wachten.. wat rot dat er zoveel tijd tussen zit voor je de uitslag hebt..
Dankje, ja is ie goed in he... En fijn dat ik niet de enige ben! Dankjewel, ja er zit een uitslag gesprek tussen maar als we dan horen dat het niet goed is, dan zitten we nog een week met vragen en in spanning. Oncoloog weet minder van hersenen dan de neuroloog... Hopelijk gaan de dagen snel om!
Hi Carolien. Your “summer outfit” is so lovely on you! Ready for some of that hot weather you’ve been having. Our July here was miserable - we only had about 8 days where the temperature was under 40 C - and no air conditioner! Horrid! I’m glad that Castle Fest was a great success! My best to you and Robert. How sweet that the birds love to come into your garden area!! Binx and Leah are definitely keeping their eyes glued to window!! I hope the radiation does it's job for Robert and that he doesn't suffer from the side effects!! The baby sweater is looking so cheerful and will be a great gift!!!
Wat een heerlijke wolletjes heb je gescoord ! Robbert boft daar ook maar mee, dat is echt een hele mooie kleurenmix ! Je sweater wordt ook mooi. Ik ben heel benieuwd naar het eindresultaat. En snap meteen waarom de Sode op je wishlist staat.. Ik brei niet heel vaak iets met kabels, maar heb ook wel al heel lang eentje in mijn favorites staan, de Eala Bhan, van Alice Starmore... maar die is in fingering weight, dus ik moet eerst wel grondig moed verzamelen...

O, je sweater start vandaag ! Heel veel plezier ! Je swatch ziet er heel mooi uit, ik ben benieuwd wat het uiteindelijk gaat worden. Mooie garens heb je gesponnen. Die zelfgeverfde, die doet me denken aan zo'n ouderwetse snoepketting... hihi... ( dat at ik nog wel eens, in de tijd dat er nog meer glazuur op mijn tanden zat 🤣 )

I love that Binx loves to join your podcast. My cat always comes running when I get the yoga mat out. Your spinning is amazing. You accomplished so much during the Tour. Castle fest sounds like fun. I hope you have a wonderful time and show us a picture of your outfit.
Hallo Carolien, tot nu toe een stille kijker, maar als mede castlefester (of hoe ze "ons" ook noemen) wil ik toch even gedag zeggen 😊 Helaas gaan wij op zaterdag dus een ontmoeting zit er niet in. Veel plezier en ik denk dat de drukte, het overweldigende best mee zal vallen. Het voelt zo heerlijk om daar een hele dag tussen alle andere gelijkgestemden rond te lopen in een mooie jurk, waar je altijd al van droomde, maar nooit de gelegenheid had om te dragen. Ik ben benieuwd wat je ervan vond en naar je outfit. Veel plezier vrijdag!
Wow, je bent druk geweest, met zoveel FO's ! Leuk om alles te zien, en ook je nieuwe spinnewiel. Het klinkt nog best als een uitdaging, spinnen/breien met de katten. Maar ik zie ook wel mogelijkheden, voor als je ooit wilt gaan vilten 🤣 De vakantie zag er goed uit ! Behalve die kaasmarkt... de horror ! Draaiorgels trouwens ook... En dan zijn er mensen die vinden dat ze behouden moeten worden, want het 'zou zonde zijn als ze verdwijnen' . Zonde voor wie ? denk ik dan. Ik ken namelijk niemand die het een mooi geluid vindt ( muziek durf ik het al niet eens te noemen, hahaha ). Die hoeden staan Robbert goed, en ik kan me ook wel voorstellen dat het heel raar voelt, zo'n kale plek..
Dankje! Ja is ook soms een uitdaging, zeker als ik zelf moet trappen. Maar afgelopen week met Leia op schoot toch kunnen trappen! Voordeel van twee-traps je hoeft niet zoveel kracht te zetten en het schommelt ze lekker in slaap 😉 Oh echt he, draaiorgels... Vreselijk! Ja als je dat niet gewend bent, dan ineens daar wind en temperatuur verschil voelen is heel gek.
Hi Carolien! Congratulations on your new wheel. I’m sure you will have lots of fun with it. Your holiday looks good in the pictures. We are having a very hot summer. It was 103 degrees in the sun yesterday. I am wishing for a bit of rain. I’m working on Saven, still! It is a big cable pullover for my son-in-law. Happy knitting….I like Roberts’ hat!
Thank you! The wheel is great, enjoying it very much! Ugh that's hot! I'd love to send you some of our rain, we got about 60+mm today, which is way too much so issues and damage everywhere 🙈 I love cable pullovers! Will look up that pattern!
Hahahahaha !!! I live near Alkmaar, the other Cheese-town ! That is the exact reason I never go to town on Fridays between april and september 😅 ! And feeling exactly the same “horror” when it comes to draaiorgels !

Hi Carolien ! It looks like you will enjoy the Tour! I do not spin, but I make up for it by knitting all the things! I finished some shortie socks yesterday, and two cardigans in the month of June. I’m still working on Saven for my son-in-law. I’m happy to hear Robert made it through the radiation. We are well. Take care. Happy spinning

Hi Kralalien. I love your Outline tee. That looks a v handy summer top. Also the Travel mode baby blanket is gorgeous. I haven’t seen a pattern like that one before. It looks to be an interesting knit. I have just got the hang of spinning. Both on my wheel and now this week with my turkish drop spindle. So i am interested to watch what goes on on tour de fleece. Pleased to hear Robert isn’t suffering too much with his treatment. 🤞🏼 fingers crossed it stays that way. Xx

Wat leuk, al die vogels ! Ik heb maar een klein tuintje, maar wel een boom er in en voederding, en heb steeds twee koolmeesjes, daar kan ik echt van genieten ( de poezen ook 😁) Duiven zitten hier ook wel eens in de buurt. Ik kan me voorstellen dat je niet bepaald fan bent van duivenpoep, maar ik vind ze wel altijd gezellig klinken.. Die neon-regenboog sokken zijn echt supergaaf ! Sowieso al die sokken wel trouwens. Ik vind dat jullie niet 'wat kleine dingetjes' op de zolder gedaan hebben hoor ! Misschien lijkt het zo als je het in gedeeltes doet, maar al met al hebben jullie enorm kluswerk verzet ! Ik hoop dat Robbert zich inmiddels weer wat beter voelt, sterkte allebei. Mooi shirt had je aan trouwens, die kleur staat je ook leuk !
Dankjewel! Ja hier zitten de poezen ook veel naar buiten te kijken, tot ze bekaf en overprikkeld zijn 🙈 dan doe ik gauw de deken erover zodat ze gaan slapen! Ja we doen het steeds in kleine stapjes en nu is het vooral dingen op marktplaats zetten. Stom klusje! Maar goed... Wat niet verkoopt gaat alsnog naar de kringloop of de stort. Hi Carolien. It is always nice to see you, with or without finished objects. Your sock are lovely. I’m working on a pair of shorties, when I get tired of the bigger projects. Thank you Jennie! Shorties sure are quick and quick satisfaction guaranteed! I'm doing lots of meditation with breathing exercises, but sometimes it just gets the better of me. Just normal, but you know that probably! All the best for July!!! It's looking like we'll have summer off if DH behaves and next round in September... fingers crossed we make it!
Hopefully everything went well the afternoon after you recorded. I totally get the need to fill time with distractions like chores, gardening and recording. Thank you Marieke, it went, with some pain afterwards but it's done! Currently my stress and energy goes into cleaning. Keeping the house tidy and the kitchen counter clean... always something to obsess about. It's not the right weather to go into the garden and also my body is not happy doing that either at the moment. Oh well...

And with construction and renovation from neighbours around us sitting outside sucks with all that noise. And now I finished the baby blanket I picked up a summer top, might be able to finish it before the weather gets better! 🤞
@@ColourfulCreativitypodcast 🤞 that's true, we are almost done renovating our new home, moving date is approaching soon and I'm glad we don't have hot weather right now. But the rain is delaying a lot of outside renovation stuff and that means it needs to be done after our move. Have a peaceful weekend

...die scans, uitslagen en het wachten... Ik hoop, dat er dan nu eerst weer rustiger tijden aanbreken voor jullie. Heel veel sterkte in elk geval ! O, die baby gaat goed verwend worden ! 🤩 Je sokken zijn leuk, allemaal ! Volgens mij is Drops Fabel inderdaad wat dun. Of in elk geval dunner dan bijvoorbeeld Opal. Maar vergeleken met Lang Jawoll vind ik het dan weer meevallen. Jammer dat de kleuren in het echt zo tegenvallen. Wat dat betreft heb ik mazzel dat mijn LYS het garen verkoopt ( en ook weer niet: dag, budget... hahaha ). Hoe vind je het linnen garen breien ? Ik ben nu zelf met een shirt bezig in Lana grossa Linea Pura, wat maar 50 % linnen is, maar ik vond het toch behoorlijk wennen.
Heerlijk om al die sokken te zien. Ik voel me een beetje “out of it” want ik heb maar vier paar op de naalden staan. Ik heb besloten om vanmiddag nog een paar sokken op te zetten met Colourful Creativity wol zo dat ik extra goeden gedachten en wensen de universe uit kan sturen terwijl ik brei.
