Scalextric 1/32 Slot Car in my garage is about sharing the hobby of having a unique Scalextric layout set up in my garage for others to see.
Having fun demonstrating some of my car collection, by comparing lap times over 3 laps and recording the fastest lap times on the lap board (hopefully without any accidents).
Found your channel and have subscribed to you 👍🏻 BTW, what guide blade are you using on your Carrera Benz for your Scalextric track? As we also have a Scalextric track and have just bought a Carrera Car.
Great, but..... can you please film in Landscape. Its Lost in portrait. I have subscribed and would love to view more :-) best regards ade (ade's Restorations)
G'day, point noted, I did a video of two scalextrics on a temp track on my deck, surface temp was 42 deg cel and I noticed that the grip was too great and had trouble keeping them on track kept rolling over cheers for sharing
Well it’s a 110 degrees in my garage, I should be able to get my Williams to go the speed of light😂😂😂, great comparison and temp does make a diff. Nice video and great layout
Yes now I'm looking at your other videos! The E30 M3 is my favorite Scalextric slot car, I have 7 of them in my collection (not your one ironically) and I find them to be the fastest cars I have, the only cars I have that run with them are my Porsche GT3s
Very nice! I currently have a 46.5m long track set up on a 4 x 9m footprint in my garage, with extra lanes it's all up about 60m, also using ARC Pro. As you say, it's so much fun just to get away from reality for a bit and run some laps with various cars, amazing how quickly the time flies though!
@@ScalextricInMyGarage1 It's nowhere near as well set up as yours! Mind you I only get it out once or twice a year, but I have a lot more room now in my new house so it might stay up for a few months now. I'm curious, what do you use to maintain your track? I clean mine with Inox when I set up up, then periodically whilst using, then again before I pack it up, but I've had most of it for nearly 10 years now and time takes it's toll... I'll see if I can pop a video up on YT of my current track and let you know....
Tried many different things to clean my track but found Autosol polish seems to do the trick after watching this:ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Rsaqgj3qD_k.htmlsi=EPKRywyzbmbGMEXb
a very nice layout, I have the M3 police car too, I only recently purchased it from Amazon, I accidently put it on my digital track without chipping it, it blew the noise chip of the siren, but the car is fine and still lights up correctly, and although I heard it before, I now prefer mine as silent running.. and use it more due to the fact that annoying whine (not even the correct siren noise for the car) isn't putting me off from using it more..... nice car that handles well and excellent for drifting around the corners... I do like that SD1 though, I might have to get one.
Yeah, I think these modern F1 cars fit better on my Carrera track with the bigger lane spacing and wider curves. I applause for Scalextric for doing the McLaren and Williams.
