I would love to hear your journey with adoption. We adopted our oldest son but our second child is biological. I was cleaning out my chest freezer and found a lemon pepper chicken from Oct ‘22. I was so sad I had to throw it out. It was visible it was freezer burned. I reorganized my freezer with hard sides totes/grocery totes. Putting all my like protein meals together. Now I can see where everything is.
I always drain it and try mix it in in small batches otherwise you can get blobs of shredded zucchini which makes it much harder to hide from your children! 😜
How many cups are in a pound of cooked ground beef? I’m converting cooked ground beef to seasoned beluga lentils/veggie grounds for the egg roll in a bowl and don’t know how much I should add.
you should try my potato and ground chicken sausage recipe chop potatoes fry in oil or butter when browned remove them add more oil to pan sauté onion and garlic add thyme and Italian seasoning then chop sausage brown everything add potatoes back in then sprinkle in some corn starch mix add evaporated milk let thicken and serve with a little bit of parm on top and green onion the sausage has apple and gouda in them oh and i add red pepper flakes to taste
Hello from Southwestern Ontario! Love your videos, and how much fun you have together! Funny you mentioning the Company’s Coming panic roast recipe in this video…. I have used that quite a few times! I throw a couple bouillon powder packets in (as well as a prime rib seasoning mix I created several years ago) for flavour and it’s perfect every time! I adore Jean’s books (I kinda collect them - 27 Practical Gourmet series, and 149 other books & compilations, across all the other series!). Only ever had 1 recipe not turn out, over the 20 years I have been using them! I have not yet done any freezer meal cooking but am collecting recipes to get organized and start. I have a girlfriend interested in joining me and possibly my brother as a second partner, only he lives about a 6 hour drive away. A little more coordination required for that one! Lol 😂

I’m excited to try the shashuka. Haven’t made it yet but I made 11 of the August freezer stack yesterday. Having the chicken street tacos tonight for supper. Everyone is excited to try them. I’m usually exhausted after doing freezer meals but I am always thankful I have them.
I'll post in the fb group as well, but you can can ground beef at home and then it's fully cooked and ready to add in. I'm going to join the club and combine my home-canned goods with making freezer meals!
We are camping right now, I brought Shakshuka for breakfast yesterday!! It’s my husband’s birthday so I prepped a lot, including nacho fixings for when the kids came to visit yesterday. Winwin!’
I don’t love camping. But I do think Freezer Meals makes it a LITTLE better! I told my husband when I turn 45 we either get a trailer or I’m done with camping. 😂
These are great! I'm excited to add to my meatball repertoire! For those of you out there who are doing plant based protein I use Gardein Plant Based Meatballs in these recipes with great success. You'll need to experiment a bit with cooking times, but it can be done!
