I've had this watch for almost 2 years. The patina gets better and better. I love this watch and get asked about it everytime I wear it. The original strap does stain very easily and gets dirty quick.

For what Thursday prices themselves at, I would rather buy Johnston & Murphy, or Florsheim. The only selling point to Thursday is the Goodyear welt. Nobody is touting the quality of the leather, or the quality of the sole. Otherwise it's known for poor quality control. I'm not drinking the Kool-Aid.
I use them as a more dress boot, not crazy about the build but they look better in the office than my “work” type boots. Thanks for watching and the feedback!!
Numazan is a great value if you live in the US. Outside you have extremely high shipping costs. Plus, I think the Iron Ranger is a nicer looking boot (silhouette)
i also am breaking in with thin socks, my foot is a bit bigger than the boot so breaking in the leather will form perfectly with my foot... check out the roughnecks, you can get them in e2... im going to rotate between my iron rangers in copper rough and tough and my roughnecks in briar oil slick... best of luck with the break in!!!

I too went to my local RW store to be fitted and the guy wanted to put me in an Iron Ranger a size and a half smaller than what I eventually bought. Thankfully there was another employee there who over heard our conversation and she resized me while he was on the phone attempting to ordered me the boots I wanted. She said they’d be too small and was right. Ordered my usual shoe size and they fit perfect. I doubt my foot would have even gotten in the boot size the guy originally suggested.
Funny, I got sized up and you got sized down. The computer they have giving the sizes isn’t too reliable. Good thing that other sales rep got you the right size before you left with the wrong one. Thank you for watching!
@@josemanuel2244 I bought mine from Thursday direct, haven’t had any QC issues. Maybe Amazon has older stock from when Thursday was transitioning warehouses.
Not every shoe will be perfect. Problems do ship out. Revive Shoe Repair cobbler Aaron has shown Thursday problems on his channel. For the most part, you are buying a product which cost less, and it is not the best. Sort of like buying the cheapest car. What did you expect from Kia? A Ferrari?
