Videos of the things I've seen while driving the roads of America, participating in truck shows, and our onroad free time. Also videos of my 2 International Show Truck Tours in Northern and Eastern Europe, will soon be appearing.
Back in the 90's I used to go there every weekend and on nights that they'd run the Jet Cars was always my favorite night. Took my dads old camcorder one weekend when I had a Pit Pass and I got as close as I possibly could for the Jet Car that night and OMG! When the that thing started spitting out fire and booming at first I thought the lens on the camcorder had cracked and mic blew from the sound of the blasts and the flames, but no, just the hair on my arms and eye brows was gone. lol.
Thanks for donating this truck to the Iowa Trucking Museum! It was my favorite truck in the entire museum. Something about it just makes trucking look fun. It felt like I was looking at your good old memories.
Boy , if ol Hank could talk. Ya know not long ago , ol Hank had run outa road that he hadnt seen before and got bored. Next thing ya know , he got some snorkel tubes and began his trip over seas! I had no idea a Kenworth Aerodyn could swim! Hank met lots of trucks over there , a made many new friends. He didnt care if they had right side drivers , or that everyone in places ran on the left. And of course ol Hank was the main attraction where ever he went. After while , he got to missing his friends in America. So after telling this good looking little Scania truck he was sweet on goodbye and he would be back one day again , Hank grabbed the snorkles and commenced to trung back accross the pond! Oh he had many things happen and seen so much while swimming there and back , Hank could tell everybody lots of new stories for a long time. Well , ol Hank made it back and put his tires in the sand , just thinking about all his new friends , but was sure glad to get back home , truckin in America , right where he left off. Theres more to tell about , but its always better from the Legend Himself. Watch for him out on the road , and maybe you can listen to his tales , and make a new friend.
i worked at the Burger King on base that day. I was a full time student at CSUSB there and i used the gym on Norton all the time from 1987-92. What memories!!
Wow! Colin an amazing one of a kind unique classy PETE 'Workin Class'! Definitely understand why he got the W and trophies at the Iowa-80 jamboree. #Keepontruckin 😳😉👌💯
An icon. I hope old Hank is doing well these days. I saw the H.G. on a company truck last year in the New England/ Upstate New York area. Must've been old Hank.
