The two magnifying glass side of the token means that two more search actions can be done on that space, not that you get two items for searching. You've made it WAY easier for the victims. Also, I believe the solid hedge line on the board is for the players, and the dotted line on the Myers board is for Myers. They are different because players follow the main board's lines and Michael follows HIS board's lines.
I love birds--both the wooden figures and the plastic sculpts are attractive. It looks like a great production, hopefully it's equally as fun! Your channel and Rolling Solo do the best jobs at unboxing videos!
So they are adding shapes to distinguish the item type... and the shapes are tiny on those tokens. And it is very confusing since they changed item colors for each Horrified and those shapes were not part of any of the previous ones. Universal Monsters had - Red/Yellow/Blue American Monsters had - Brown/Yellow/Teal Greek Monster had - Blue/Orange/Teal This seems to have - Green/Purple/Blue And I'm here like... just pick 3 colors and stick with them between games, how hard can that be? Introducing shapes around numbers in your fourth game isn't really helping things with any of the previous games. Not to mention even the shape of all the tokens differs between editions and that could have been prevented early on. Some mats have blank item slots and if the tokens are not the same shape and color, that just adds more frustration than anything.

My heart jumped when I saw the big monster eye after the box top was lifted! Wow, this looks so fun. If you and Julie ever have time, I would love to know what you think about this Horrified in comparison to the others. I loved the first Horrified, but didn't care for American Monsters. Hi, I’m a pediatric OT. This game is awesome. FM skills, sequencing, gross grasp. Also making the molds are the fun. PS- most kids find Candy Land boring. PS I got it on sale..
3 x of the animals match the 3 wheel barrows of the basic game, the 4th animal is used as the scoring marker instead of having a button. Keymaster originally planned to have matching coloured buttons for each of the animals, but couldn’t make them all colourblind friendly, so included a matching fourth animeeple to use as your scoring marker instead 😊
The explorer can’t use metal armor which makes him different not better than the dwarf. The barbarian can use a crossbow that is a huge difference for how some people play. The new heroes are not necessarily superior even with limited time skills they just give us different play styles to explore. As for the order the recommended official order is the ogre set then the jungles then the mythic crypt one it was written as if taking place in the future so most expansions will take place before it
great unboxing all the new mini's look so cool this should be a good one. also I think the order for the the three quest packs you have left too play is ogre horde then jungles of delthrak and then crypt of darkness . thank's for the unboxing
Thank you for taking the time to let us know. As mentioned in the beginning, Julie will undertake three HeroQuest books in the near future: Perpetual, Ogre, and Delthrak. Not sure of the order yet.
@@GamesRuleDoctor Just my opinion…. A few people have done perpetual darkness, No one has done with ogre Horde or Jungles so your get more traffic on you page.. I look forward to watching it..
I'm still trying to work on creating some quests for 1 or 2 players and maybe a ogre and animal helper I call em bounty quests like you'd receive in skyrim you'd start in a tavern or thrown room and receive quests actually go to shops and find your helpers . Let's say you started with elf dwarf barbarian mage after quest 8 your barbarian feels wanderlust the king happens to assign you his knight but first you need to prove worthy .. do a bounty quest and the knight joins you for 9 and 10 You can decide if you want to take a break and do the 4 frozen horror quests or meet the berserker at the tavern 🍺 for kellers keep The elf gets called home you see a shady guy/girl in the corner of the tavern he/she needs your help the rogue will join you but first they need to find the great diamond of algahorn or whatever 😂😂worth whatever amount of gold you decide 😉 You can do the 4 elf quests or the rogue joins you after their quest has been done Your mage decides he wants to learn better magic between quests at the tavern you see two different characters a druid talking to a sabrecat which transforms into another druid or a shady looking warlock in the corner Same deal For the monk maybe meeting them you are in a church and they need help removing the blight they join for the jungles of delthrak The explore is easy the dwarf gets called home as usual you see two dwarf like characters arguing over a treasure map you help them find the treasure they will join you in your quest Plus I have two boards so I role-playing the shops and a training grounds for hirelings so at any given time you may hire ogres or any of the previous hirelings and the ever growing animal companionship quests .. it gives these tiles more use while playing any feedback would be nice david or Julie 🎉🎉

i think the concealed tokens should always go where the alien lands since it also makes more sense w the cards art, same maybe w the scrap or divide the scraps evenly between that (hallway(?) and the location it says?
32:35 yeah im seeing there is something of w this chart cuz: the motion detector is way to cheap and should cost three not two, and also have three spaces not two incinerator should only cost three and only have one space away not three, cuz the reach is very close, (see alien isolation) flashlight should cost three not two since its unlimited, grapple gun should have only two spaces not three, rest is ok.. electric prod sould cost two, not three since its limited and only two uses the cat carrier should cost two since there is no action for using it and it negates all jones scares from then on,,thats why the flashlight should not apply to jones since it makes it meaningless to craft both items on one person which should not be the case since they otherwise negate each other's effect instead of supplementing eachother,even if the cost is slightly different, i mean either all but one flashlight should be taken out of the game and no character can craft both on his person or the carrier should be completely removed from the game or the flashlight and thus only keeping the prod since its now cheaper, another thing is that once all items are used up they should be removed ASap from the game and not be crafted again in that particular game ! lastly it makes sense thematically also w the movies that the game only contain one motion tracker, one incinerator, one flashlight, two g.guns, two e.prods, and two cat carriers!!
32:37 if u had played w those D.Cut rules u would have had atleast 3 more morale by now (one for each objective, and maybe one if u used 3 scrap in the med bay) !! so u would have been on the 6th or 7th space on the tracker now instead of the third

27:34 the incenerator should be ok to use up or down ladders as long as ur adjacent to it right? but not the prod (i mean not more than one space right IN A LINE, (u shouldn't be able to move the alien around corners w it, that makes no sense at all...
divide all of the hallways into 2 and 3 squares according to the character standee place which means the alien will move normally /faster (since it is the lifeform) and ash will move one space faster also (since he is a cyborg) than the characters through those basically slowing the players effectively down... thematically makes sense... consider splitting up A THIRD of the biggest rooms as well in two or three spaces accordingly to their sizes if applicable
try putting out minus one scrap for every QUIET card nxt time, that means all cards gets more powerful for the alien and vice versa for the characters since not only less scrap but also some cards will have NO scrap on them but only conceal, lol
19:13 im also thinking maybe the morale track should be treated only like a timer of attrition or something so it goes down one each time after the alien turn, and then if it reaches zero before all objectives are met players automatically lose as well..? and back to the other i already said about only possibilities for instant deaths instead, the 1-2, the 1-3 and the 1-5
12:13 the three cards is a nice touch but she uses to long time to think on it while u dont so i suggest just choosing two next time and then instead she can look at 3 concealment tokens instead, give the alien player also more options w ash to steal scrap or morsle or a combo of both (thinking about the directors cut rules)
many of those rooms and hallways btw u can easily divide up further OR just play on an alternate map like in LIFEFORM boardgame by making /drawing one..
would be cool to play w ANOTHER ash character like in the alien isolation game w director's cut rules...and/or maybe another alien as well like one can only move normally all the time and one can only appear through pounces and concealment!! 😁😁😮😮😬😬🙀🙀👽👽🙊🙊😩😩
i loved the houserule that says everytime a character goes to medbay (and spends 3 scraps) morale goes up 1 and/or everytime the players completes a objective they go up a morale which is very thematic !!
I also disliked Eldritch Horror which was so impersonal that it dragged on! Don't feel about Star Wars Destiny being a miss. The FORCE is strong with Star Wars Outer Rim, you'll have a blast! I would really appreciate if you and Julie do updated lists of your Top 10 you want to play again & your Top 10 you'd never play again, they're really informative! Thank you!
