Rawstone Model Railway is a fictitious layout based around the Yorkshire area. Locomotives and rolling stock are Era 1 to 5. Follow my layout coming back to life after 20-plus years of gathering dust which started back in June 2020. Also, see what locomotives and rolling stock I buy to run around the layout. Model Railway shows and Heritage Railway videos will be uploaded from time to time as well.
@@delphjunction1168 Hi Pete. Yes definitely a place to visit they only open on a Sunday. Plenty to see there is something different to see quite often with being coupled to the main. There was an 08 shunter in the workshop being painted it was in full primer grey.
@@dibsyardshuntinglayout yeah that was a good layout. I liked how they could go in and out the factory. They had a TV screen as well showing you inside the building of where they ended up.
@@AnthonySmith-Magee I'm sure someone must have the tooling it's too good a model for someone not to pick up. You'd probably say Accurascale since they've taken on the other stuff.
@@grandaddyoe1434 in the end I don't think they did as they all liverys sold out. Hattons was smaller then Hornby so I doubt they made as many as Hornby did. The batch that are going through Rails of Sheffield are all sold out to pre order. 2nd hand they fetch more then the Hornby ones as well so there is still a market for who ever takes on the tooling.
@@modelrailwaynoob I would love some more to go with some of my other models but this next batch is all sold out. Hopefully there will be more down the line.
There was a signal tower very high with stairs outside, I have never seen this type before,,do you know who makes it,,love to get at least 3 for my use..so many possibilities..😊
The layouts are amazing and of course they have all featured in the pages of Hornby Magazine. Jonathan's layout 'Newton Grove' looks brilliant too. Really well filmed, getting in nice and close. It helpd to bring all the layouts to life 😊
