I play laptapping percussive style as well and it really get's me. The technique's are on point, but I sometimes miss the emotion (don't know if it's the right word) and the melody in it. It is rather chaotic. Which is not bad, just different.
Well everybody's got an opinion... There's not necessarily supposed to be a Melody here. That's not what this is. This isn't a song. This is an experience. He just happens to be able to put it in a format that's a little easier for people to understand and probably easier for him to express this experience. I don't consider this a song... Like I said I consider this to be an experience that he's sharing.
