Sarah Kim’s dazzling performance as Synthi Fou is most expressive and well staged. It sounds wonderful, and it is so sad that this 2020 production of Dienstag aus Licht was limited to a large Parisian audience due to the necessary pandemic travel bans. The full film online has saved the production for a wider audience, but a revival would be most welcome!

If an angel were to come down and sing, this would be her voice. It is so beautiful, effortless, fluent, and simply amazing. The technique, acting, composure, and execution of her voice are spot on. I was hypnotized by her voice. Amazing.

Yes, she has an amazingly beautiful and perfect voice and does a wonderful rendition, but I'm surprised no one has commented on the unexpected musical choice of adding dissonant tones through the instruments. Takes some getting used to, no?
