I’m 21 and I work 3rd shift right now, I want to get my cdl in January, and this grocery store ain’t cutting it. I’m tryna get my bag up and multiply my skills. Just downloaded the app too thanks.
looks kinda foolish as a grown man blowing all that smoke especially aint even no herb i mean that with no disrespect im about to wtch the rest to let u kno how good the content was
Hey! I’ve created a tool for owner-operators and carriers to easily track expenses and manage fleet finances. I think it could be really useful for you! Would love to chat about working together. Keep up the awesome content!
I’m hitting my 10 years of having CDL in November! Started out hauling food grade dry bulk pneumatic (wheat flour). It was “meh” Then did 5+ years hauling frac sand in the oilfield (pneumatic). It was great for a few years, now they’ve slashed the rates and it will never be lucrative again. Then I did local dry van in Dallas Ft Worth, it was about $1200/week gross. It paid the bills but I loved the job. Then I became owner operator and did dry van most recently all lower 48 states and southern Canada hauling Broadway shows. It’s a struggle to make money after fuel and maintenance, repairs and NO HOME TIME!! Your video is VERY helpful and informative thank you!! I’ve been watching Dirty Broke and some other fuel haulers, it has my curiosity and I am very interested
Any tips on staying awake during night shifts and the schedule you keep for going to bed and how long you stay up after work? I might start at fedex local
The only hardship of getting on Ground is dealing with 1st Advantage. I drove for them for 3 years. Left to do foodgrade tanker and later oil fields. Now that the crude production dropped I'm going back to linehaul but local this time around. Will be doing 325 miles each way 5 days a week.
Get into the trash cooperations. Such as the walking floor trailers. Trucks that transport to landfill to landfill. For example, companies such as MBI. Always hiring I think they located in varies locations though. But look into that field.
Same thing happened to me in Massachusetts only difference is I downloaded the app in the rmv studied for an hour and retook the test right then and there
You failed to give a solid pros and cons to the questions that people asked. When the person asked you, should he buy or lease a truck. You could have given an answer based on your own experiences or someone you know. Other than that, you made very good points in the rest of the video.
Any endorsement on your cdl the was put on at same time issued you have to retake the test for that endorsement I don’t know that when I renewed my license I failed the hazmat test Said if I passed it was going to be over two hundred dollars
