Well then, smooth arm! :P Most likely some sort of mechanical failure on 2. Last year, # 3 had a hydraulic failure mid flight, had to hook the arresting wire stretched across the Pensacola Rwy. Don't know if you knew, but still interesting nonetheless. We need MOAR great vids like this :)
Such a great show despite #2 bird having engine trouble (why the diamond only has 3 birds) and after they get #7 up for a 4-ship diamond, #3 hits a flock of vultures and has to land. Professionals no matter the curve balls thrown at them. I am glad though that all the pilots, crew, and spectators were safe again this year.
