This is a REALLY good tutorial, BUT, I've TRIED C2C before several times and I get LOST in the orientation of the squares and where I'm supposed to be. Do you have any tips for NOT getting lost? I've got the ch. 5, 3 hdc part it's the turning and ending that gets me. I GUESS. That's the only thing I can figure. What is your crochet hook made of?? it looks cool.

I love this scarf but I really seriously dislike making them lengthwise because I almost always find a mistake a couple rows back and have to rip out a LOT in order to get back there. For that reason I like short row patterns

I just finished my second hat. My first one was small but perfect for my 7 yo grandson. I think my tension was to tight. The second hat turned out perfect for women/teen small. I used 6.5 mm crochet hook and paid close attention to my tension. Thank you for this video! ❤
